The Hero of Bowerstone Versus Corvo Attano

In a battle between two men who both fight with sword, guns and magic, who proves to be the deadlier combatant.

The Hero of Bowerstone!

This hero started off as a little boy (I am going with the male version here) in the slumbs of bowerstone. He had no family other then his older sister. The two got invited by the mayor of Bowerstone, Lucien. He believes that both of them have the ancient blood of the heroes in them and decides to shoot them. Sister dies while the hero gets thrown out of a window and gets left for dead, only to be found by an old blind woman. He gets nursed back to health and trained into combat. From that moment on, he becomes a real hero.
The hero spends the whole game collecting the heroes of skill, will and might so they will not become a pawn in the scheme of Lucien to get all the power of the old heroes for himself. In the end, the hero proves to be too strong for Lucien and together with the three other heroes, he beat the soldiers and kills Lucien. After killing the mayor, The hero gets crowned king of Albion.

Weapons:
As for the weapons, I have chosen the strongest legendary weapons that could be found in a game as the hero would carry the strongest weapons around in such a battle. There are a lot of different kind of weapons around and I tried to choose the best ones in each catagory. Each weapon also comes with a set of augmentations. These augmentations aid the weapons in their own way. Some might be usefull in this battle but others will be useless against Corvo.

Long Range: The Perforator and The Rammer

As its name implies, this weapon is very good in putting holes in people.
The perforator is a turret rifle that causes fear in people who see it.
This weapon belonged to a woman named Maniac Mary, over a 150 years ago. She collected all the bandits in one army but holding such an army of rogues proves difficult and she soon lost her weapon as her lieutenants tried to grab it and the leadership for their own. The hero found this weapon in a innocent looking cottage that harboured a dark secret. He collected the weapon and used it for his own purposes.
As a turret rifle, it can fire up to six round before needing to get reloaded again. As this is a legendary weapon, it loads rather quick and takes less then a ingame minute. (0.75) The weapon also has a long range and can shoot up to 60 in game meters.
It should be noted that this weapon is the strongest rifle in the game and will kill an opponent easy.
Because of the augmentations on this weapon, the hero is more resistant to damage but scars easily while holding this weapon. It will also instill fear in the hearts of others and give the hero more experience.
The only downsize to this weapon  is that it is a slow reload. even though reloading this weapon is quicker then other turret rifles, it still takes more then it takes to load other weapons.

The Rammer is a crossbow
The rammer is build by a farmer who wanted to protect himself from bandits. It is said that getting hit with a bolt from this weapons feels like a stampede of animals crushing the target.
The hero aquired this weapon after destroying all the Gargoyles and finding its lair.
This weapon has a long range, altough not as long as the perforator it can still shoot 45 ingame meters. Due to the augmentations on this weapon, it does fire damage, heals the Hero a tiny bit with every shot and it maked the hero more attractive.
The rammer is a powerfull weapon that deserves its name but it still is a crossbow. This means that the weapon needs to be reloaded after every shot. It also has a reload time of 0.75, so slightly under a minute.

Mid Range: The Red Dragon

The red dragon is a clockwork pistol and one of the fastest weapons in Albion. This gun can rapid fire six bullets and do massive damage.
The hero aquired this weapon by winning the shooting competition and showing his skill with ranged weapons. After that, he used this weapon for both short range and midrange battles.
As I have said, this weapon is rather fast. However it does not have much range. it loads around 0.75, so three quarters of a minute but it fires very quicky and can have all his ammo fired in mere seconds.
Due to its augmentations, the Hero does more damage when using this weapon and takes less. And it enhances his skill with the red dragon even more. As I have said, the red dragon lacks range and can shoot only up to 35 m.

Close Range: The Daichi and The Chopper

The daichi is the legendary katana in fable. This powerfull weapon has a good lenght and a fast swing, making it one of the most powerful melee weapons in the game.
The daichi once belonged to a female warriormonk from a far away land that had come to Albion for a quest and died there.
The hero aquired this weapons after going through a tower and solving the puzzles within.
Due to the augmentations, the weapon gives more skill to the user while fighting with it, it makes the fighter more attractive and does electrical damage instead of normal damage. The hero can also flourish to break a block with the weapon and block other melee weapons. This weapon can be used with only one hand and with two
(http://fable.wikia.com/wiki/The_Daichi)

The chopper is a large two-handed axe and the weapon in the game with the most power. It once belonged to a man named Mad-Dog 'Strangler' Mcgraw, who left it in the crucible, allowing it as price for anyone who could beat his record. The hero managed to beat his record in the crucible and earned this axe as prize and used it during his fights.
When the hero uses this axe, he gets more experience during battle and the weapon protects his skin against scarring. as with the daichi, the hero can both block and flourish with it.
This weapon is very strong but also rather slow and will take some time and power for a strike.

Special 1:  Dog, Offensive will: Blades, force push, inferno, Shock and Vortex

The Hero of Bowerstone did not fight alone. During his travels, he had his loyal sidekick with him in the form of his dog. During his childhood, Sparrow protected the dog against a nasty bully and since then, the dog had never left his side, untill the dog himself got shot.
The dog is a good helper that aides the hero in finding treasure, hunting down opponents and attacking them with the verocity of a canine.
This dog can take a punishment but will be weakened by attacks of opponents. If an opponent falls to the ground, the dog will attack his throat and kill him. However, the hero has a healing trick where he can heal the dog instantly and without a trouble. The dog will be usefull to find Corvo and attack him. Note that the dog always attacks the most dangerous opponent first.

Now, I am going to adress the offensive will powers. These willpower attacks will damage opponents and all can be an area attack or a specific attack. The specefic attacks target one opponent and unleash a powerful attack towards this opponent. (Inferno will become a large fireball for example.) Area attacks target an area and opponents in this area. this will do less damage but the hero will be able to hit multiple opponents. (with inferno, a ring of fire around the hero gets created for example.)
Each of these attacks can be charged up for in total five levels. As the charging passes a level, the attack gets stronger, however, it will also takes up more time before the attack can be unleashed. During the loading, the hero cannot attack.
It should be noted that the hero can spam will power and send a lot of attacks after each other if he only keeps them on level one.
The quality of the video is bad but i was unable to find another clip showing all      will attacks

Blades is the first willpower. This attacks summons several blades out of thin air and attacks the opponent. Each blade moves on his own and can either hit a target or hit an obstacle in its way to the target. When the blades hit, they impale the opponent and thereby wounding him. The targeted attack will send all the blades at one person while the blades shoot for a target of their own choosing when its used as an area spell. The longer the blades are charged, the more blades will appear.

Force push will do what you think it will do. The attack blasts opponents back as if they have been hit by an invisible wall. The attack will send opponent to the ground, but can also be used to push opponents over a cliff or against a object. The highest level of this attack will disarm opponents of the weapon they are holding, forcing them to draw a spare if they have any.
Targeted attack will blast away one opponent with force and area attacks will use less force but blow away all opponent in the vicinity.

Inferno is one of the strongest willpowers and my personal favorite. The hero controlls fire and uses it to attack opponents. This can be in the form of a fireball as targeted attack or a large ring of fire when he uses an area attack. When the hero uses inferno as area attack, every level he gains by charging will make the inflicted area larger. When the hero uses this targeted, the flame will become larger. Higher levels will push the opponent to the ground and will hit opponents near the target. The highest level of inferno will make the opponent catch fire for a short time. This attack however does not much damage but will stop the opponent from attacking.

Shock is another attack that the hero can use. With it, he can send lightning to the opponent. The area attack will send eight columns of lightning to the opponent, that will each hit an individual target standing in the inflicted area. the targeted form will send a powerfull blast of lightning at one opponent and hold it for a few seconds, doing damage in the process. Weak enemies will stunned when hit and if an enemy gets killed by lightning, only a skeleton will remain.

The final of the offensive will attacks is the vortex attack. with it, the hero can create a small tornado that will do damage and pull all but the strongest opponents from their feet. This tornado will throw them into the air. The area attack will create a wide tornado that sweeps opponents from their feet and the area attack will send only one opponent away in a small tornado. Other then do damage, the opponents can also be thrown off cliffs, which will kill them instantly. Opponents that are sweeped up by the tornado are unable to attack.

Special 2: Other willpowers: Chaos, Raise dead and Time controll

As with the first special, there will a quite some powerfull willpowers here. Contrary to the other powers however, these do not damage the opponent directly but rather aid the hero in battle. It should be noted that where the offensive will powers will increase or decrease in power, depending if the hero chooses a targeting or surrounding attack, these will powers have a set period of time they are active. These differ depending if you choose surrounding or targeting.
If you want examples of these powers, look at the video i put at special 1.

Chaos is an attack that does influence the opponent but rather then hurt him, the spell will put a mask on a opponent. When the opponent wears the mask, several things can happen. If there are more opponents, they can turn on each other, but the opponent can also do silly things such as scrubbing flours, dancing, flirting and other silly things.
again, targeting marks only one person for a maximal period of 25 seconds when on the highest level or 15 seconds when used in an area attack and multiple people are affected.

As its name suggest, raise dead raises the dead. When the hero uses this spell, the souls of earlier defeated enemies will appear and fight for the hero. Opponents will choose to fight these things when they are summoned and will leave the hero free.
There is no difference between the targeting spell and the surrounding spell in this case, apart from the fact that with the targeting power, the souls will be put around an opponent. When there are no dead enemies around, hobbe like creatures will be summoned to fight. When this attack is charged to level five, 5 souls will appear and they will last for 35 seconds. it should be noted that weapons have no use against them and the only way to kill them is by the use of magic. The hero is also unable to attack an opponent with will, who is surrounded by these souls as they block the attack.

The final will power is time control. As one would expect with such a name, this spell can do two things, depending if the hero selects an area spell or a targeting spell.
When used as an area spell, time will move slower for about 15 seconds. With it, opponents will move slower and ranged attacks will move slower. The hero himself will move at normal speed though.
When the hero uses targeting with the spell, he will speed forwards to get behind his opponent. This will allow him to attack the back of the opponent and do extra damage.

Defense:  Tough Body, Blocking and Rolling

The Hero of Bowerstone does not wear any armour. The clothing he wears is of little protection against either blades or magic. However, that does not mean that he is completely defenseless.
First of all, every hero has a tough body that can withstand more pain and attacks then normal people in the fable world. The hero has shown to survive both a bullet and falling from a hightower at the same time.

The next way of defending himself is just plain old blocking with his sword. This will only work with bladed weapons but it works very well.

The last way of not getting hit is rolling away. The hero is not as agile as some other fighters and cannot leap into the air but he can roll sideways to avoid getting hit. This may sound stupid but is actually rather usefull in avoiding blades. Again, this manner of  defense is only usefull against melee weapons.

X- Factors

 Experience:
The hero has had experience fighting all kinds of opponents, such as beetles, human opponents, undead, balverines, ghosts and even machines. Even the human opponents can be divided into bandits, highway men, guards, elite spiral guards and those who have limited willpower. The hero of bowerstone has battled a few opponents with willpowers. However, one was a thug who only knew how to use time controll, one was a ghost pirate with vortex power and some elite spiral guards with powers that only imitated will.
Still, all these put together, the hero fought a wide arrey of opponents.

Motivation: Revenge
The Hero of Bowerstone fought for one of the most basic reasons of all, Revenge. The man named Lucien killed his sister and left him for dead on the ground, this called for revenge. He got goated into taking Lucien out by Theresa and stopped Lucien from becoming the most powerful being in Albion but he did this all because he could take his revenge on the man.

Tactics: Attack!
The Hero of Bowerstone does not have much for tactics. In long range, he will fire his rifle and as he gets to short range, he will use a combination of will powers, melee weapons and his pistol to overpower his opponent.
The hero can try to combine some will powers, such as first activate slow time to prepare for an powerful inferno attack but much more he cannot combine the will powers.

Corvo Attano
Corvo was the personal bodyguard of the empress and her Lord protector. He served her for years before he was send away to search for a cure of the plague that had the city in its might. When he returned, mysterious assasins killed the empress and Corvo was blamed for the murder. He got thrown into prison while the former spymaster took controll and named himself Lord Regent.
A group of loyalists helped Corvo escape, wanting him to find and free the empress daughter, who had been captured and kill important men in the new regime
With the help of a stranger called the outsider, Corvo unlocked special powers that aided him in his travel to find the princess and take revenge. In the end, he got betrayed by the Loyalists, finds the real killers and finishes the lord regent, where there is the possibility that he himself took control of the city or put the empress daughter on the throne.

The Weapons:

Long Range: Corvo's Crossbow and Pistol

Corvo's crossbow is as you might suspect, a crossbow. This is a crossbow that had been especially made for Corvo and he can use it very accurately. The crossbow has a very long range and can hit opponents from yards away. Corvo found it in the sewers, when he was escaping prison. the Loyalists had put some weapons, including this crossbow made for Corvo and hidden so only he could find it. He then used this weapon for the rest of the game to take out opponents.
The crossbow can shoot three kinds of bolts. The normal  bolts, incendiary bolts and sleep bolts. The normal bolts kill just as crossbow bolts tend to do. The incendiary bolts set an opponent on fire and will keep on burning untill the opponent is dead. That opponent will not fight anymore. The sleep bolts will put someone to sleep instantly when hit anywhere on the body. This is a very good non lethal takedown
(http://dishonored.wikia.com/wiki/Corvo's_Crossbow)

The pistol looks like a simple wheellock pistol but works slightly different. Instead of gunpowder, the pistol uses a miniature whale oil tank that sets to explode and push the bullet out. Corvo first aquired this weapon as he made his way from blackgate prison and has had an endless supply of pistols since all guards carry at least one pistol. However, Corvo traded the regular pistol in for one specially build for him. This pistol could be upgraded.
Totally upgraded the pistol can take out an opponent with a single shot, can shoot four times before he needs to reload and the pistol can autoreload.
to make matters worse for the opponent, Corvo can shoot both normal bullets and exploding bullets with the latter exploding on impact and doing much damage. Also in short range, the weapon had a spread damage effect that can damage opponents severely.
The weapon has not as a long range as the crossbow but its almost pinpoint accurate and has greater power behind it.

Mid Range: Grenade, Sticky Grenade and Spring Razor

The grenade works as any other grenade. However, the inside is slightly different. It is a metal shell, filled with a thick tar made or whale oil. After a 5 second delay, the grenade explodes with a destructive force.
The grenade is powerful enough to rip an opponent apart or fling him far away. The grenade can also be cooked by holding it longer for a shorter fuse if Corvo want it to explode in less then 5 seconds.
The grenade is very good at taking out multiple opponents at a time but it can roll away from the target due to its round design.

The  sticky grenade is pretty much the same as the regular grenade with only one exception. The sticky grenade can be attached to someone or something. This grenade will stick to someone and explode after a few seconds. The advantage of this is that this grenade can be used against opponents who try to run away from a grenade or it can be used in other tactical ways.

The final of these midrange weapons is the spring razor. The springrazor is a trap with all sorts of coiled wire. By placing the spring razor as a mine on the ground, vibrations will set it off and the sharp wires will be send outwards with an audible click, destroying everything in its path. This weapon is a good way to take out an opponent with ease. They have a range of over 2 meters and can be set off with a ranged weapons if there is not enough vibration nearby. It is a good weapon for an assassin, this portable mine.

Close Range: Folding Blade

Corvo can use many swords in his travel, but the most dangerous of all is his personal folding blade. This sword has been made especially for him and he aquired it in the sewers after escaping black gate prison.
The sword is called a folding blade and is good for both stealthy assassinations and open fighting. It is a short sword, made of hardened steel. Good for blocking attacks or locking blades, it can used to cut open someone from behind or slash someone's head off as he tries to attack. It is a folding blade as the blade can fold in if Corvo is not using it, making it good to hide.

Special 1: Devouring Swarm, Posession, Windblast

All of the abilties Corvo uses in special 1 and most of the special two are supernatural abilities. Corvo gained the ability to learn them from a stranger called the Outsider. The outsider places a mark on the hand of Corvo that makes him able to learn these powers with the help of runes that are made of whales.
It should be noted that all of these attacks aquire some amount of mana. Some may cost more then others. Also, all attacks that continue on will stop after a small amount of time, such as posession and bend time.
With every supernatural ability, I will write if it costs much mana or little.
in the clip That I will put up here, you can see some of the supernatural abilities at work, as other weapons.

Devouring Swarm is the first of these special abilities. With this ability, Corvo can summon a swarm of rats that will attack opponents. These rats come from the void and will attack all opponents in the neighborhood. If they have the chance they will kill and eat the opponents for Corvo. They also make a great distraction as opponents will first try to take the rats out and pay no attention to other things around them. These rats will dissapear when they are all killed or when there are no opponents anymore. Note that Corvo can activitate this ability while staying hidden for opponents. This ability costs a lot of mana.

Possesion is the second ability that Corvo can use. With it, Corvo can take over the body of an opponent or animal for a period of time. After that time expires, Corvo will appear on top or behind his target. Small animals will be killed. When Corvo inhibits the body of someone else, he can walk around undetected and in the line of fire of someone. This ability is good to abush an opponent or get awat from him. Note that Corvo can not attack while using possesion and that he can die when inibiting someone who dies.. This ability costs a lot of mana.

The third ability is windblast. With it, Corvo can send a powerfull gust of wind towards his opponent to push him backwards. After getting pushed to the ground, the opponent will be open to any attack. Altough this attack in itself will do minimal damage, it can be used to push opponents against objects or objects against opponents. If an opponent gets knocked against a wall, it will kill him instantly. An opponent can also be knocked from a rooftop that will send him to his death and the windblast can send projectiles back to the ones who threw them. Note that bullets cannot be send back.
Overall, Corvo can use windblast very well offensively if he plays his cards right. This ability costs little mana.

Special 2: Mask, The Heart, Blink, Dark vision and Bend time

In this special two, I will discuss weapons that will not harm the opponent but rather aid the user to fight better. This same goes for the defensive abilities that Corvo posseses.

The mask of Corvo is a metal mask that Corvo wears throughout the game and this item has three functions. The first of these is hiding his indentity from his opponents. The second is for simple protection. The metal mask will protect the man behind it for instant headshots. Altough Corvo can still get killed after getting hit in the head, it will take a bit more then only one attack to do this.
The third function is the one that i aimed at when i put the mask on the list. The eyes of the mask are small telescopes. Because of this, Corvo can zoom in to look at things in the distance and he can zoom in to make his ranged weapons even more accurate and hit targets further away. This means that Corvo can hit the hero from even further away and in a range that the hero might not be able to find Corvo.

The Heart is a mystical object that Corvo recieved from the outsiderThis object is an actual human heart and altough its origin is unknown, there is strong evidence that this is the heart of the empress, carved from her dead body. When Corvo hold it, he can find whalebone runes that will help him mastering his abilities as the heart will point him in the right direction. This is obvliously not very usefull in a battle. The heart can also give information about the surroundings and a person once its aimed at a person. This means that Corvo can actually know a bit of information about the hero and use that in his battle.

Blink is an abiliy that allows Corvo to travel over 5 meters in distance really quick. This is the very first ability that Corvo gains and he gets it automaticly when he firsts meets the outsider. As I have said, he travels a distance really quick but instead of teleporting there he rushes forwards. With it, he can travel from one place  to another without being spotted and scale walls rather easily. Its also usefull to avoid attacks or leaping from a height without doing damage. However as he just rushes forwards means that Corvo can still get hit or rush into things. He is also unable to get through objects and when something is in his way, Corvo will bumb into it
(http://dishonored.wikia.com/wiki/Blink)

Dark vision is an supernatural abilitie that alters the eyesight of Corvo. When he uses it, Corvo can see through walls and opponents from a medium distance. apart from seeing the opponents, he can also spot in which direction the opponent is looking. This is very usefull for sneaking around as Corvo can avoid others and sneak upon them when they have no clue. However, in this vision, all other things become rather blurry and it will be harder to see things not directly in his line of sight. plus the duration of this ability is rather short.

The final of these ability's is bend time. With this ability, Corvo is able to stop time in his surroundings for about 8 seconds in total. This means that in these 8 seconds Corvo can move around himself while others are frozen in place. With this ability, Corvo can kill frozen opponents easily with either his sword, crossbow or pistol. he can also use possesion to put opponents in the way of their own bullets or just move away. Bend time is one of the best abilities in the game as it helps a lot; Sneaking around, escaping and even fighting groups of opponents will become much easier with this ability. It uses a lot of mana and when Corvo walks into a bullet of an opponent, he still gets hurt and it stops his bend time. It should be noted that this ability does not effect anyone touched by the outsider.

Defense: Agility, blocking and Mask

Agility is a special ability but its not activated. When Corvo learns it, he can use the ability the whole time. This means that it takes no mana to use. With it, Corvo can jump rather high, run fast and move better. Overall, he would be better in avoiding attacks of his opponent and it aids his sneaking.

As his opponent, Corvo can use his sword to block attacks. With that, he can also lock swords and kick his opponent away if he is in danger. This clearly only works in sword to sword battle.

The mask I have already talked about. It is a good tool that protects the face of Corvo among others things and altough Corvo can still get hit here, it protects his head against one hit k.o's.

X-Factors

Experience:
Before the game begins, Corvo is already an accomplished fighter and personal bodyguard of the empress. He is known as one of the deadliest men in the realm and has an whole arsenal of skills. This became even more as recieved the gifsts from the outsider, which made Corvo even more deadly. In the games, he has faced enemies ranging from hordes of rats, zombies, different kinds of humans and very large metal tallboys. (tallboys are opponents standing in large metal skeletons, who fire special bows.) Human opponents can be seperated into simple thugs who mostly practise flamethrowing and cutting with crude swords, guards who use fire arms and have better tactics and lastly there are the walers. These men have abilities similair to Corvo, only in lesser form. Their leader Daud has also recieved a gift fromthe outsider and has powers on par with Corvo. Overall, Corvo has faced a good mix of powerfull people and weak ones.

Motivation: Revenge
Corvo had a good life. He was lord protector of the Empress herself and was very close to the daughter of the empress, who he thought off as his own child. That all changed when the empress got killed and the daughter; lady Emily got captured. Corvo got blamed for the murder and thrown in jail. Since then, his life has been upside down and he had been hunting down the person who has killed the empress and the new emperor. His quest has been rage fueled as Corvo wanted nothing more then plain and simple revenge.

Tactics: Stealth
Corvo is a sneaky basterd. As an assassin, he mostly creeps around in the dark and kills his opponent when they least suspect it. All his weapons and all his gear are made for the single purpose of getting around without anybody noticing it and killing in the dark. If he is spotted however, Corvo can still fight and kill his opponents, but then he has to trust on his skills with the sword and the pistol. If he has the chance, he will sneak up from behind the opponent or kill from a range. if Corvo is spotted, he can still dissapear in the shadows again due to his abilities.

The Edges:

Long Range: The Perforator and The Rammer Versus Crossbow and Pistol

- In long range, both opponents have a firearm and a crossbow. However, the way they use it is completely different.
Lets start with the two weapons of the hero. The Perforator is a turret rifle that shoots six rounds It has a good shooting distance and kill an opponent rather easily. The short reloading time makes it a very good weapon to use ranged for both power and speed. To add to the power of the weapon are also augmentations. I do not see the fear augmentation doing much here as I believe that Corvo will not be easily impressed and that the experience augmentation may help a bit after the battle is done but the third augmentation is a good one. This weapon makes the hero more resistent to damage as long as he is using the gun. That means that he can survive more hits from his opponent in ranged battle and that the \hero will be more comfortable in keeping firing his gun. He will scar more easily but that is just a minor annoyence when your life is on the balance.
The rammer is the crossbow that the hero has and altough it has more power then the perforator, it suffers highly from speed. Altough this legendary weapon loads faster then a normal crossbow and as long as the perforator, acutally shooting takes up a lot of time. That plus the fact that it has less range then the perforator makes me believe that the gun will be used most in this battle. The crossbow takes a bit more punching power and that may be one of the reasons that the hero will actually use it. The crossbow also has two very usefull augmentations and one not really usefull one. The useless augmentation is the love one. The hero will not convince Corvo to love him, no matter what augmentations and expressions the hero throws at his opponent. However every time the hero manages to hit his opponent with a an bolt, he heals up a little bit and every bolt gives fire damage. So in the end, altough the rammer is somewhat slower, it still has its uses.

Then we have the crossbow of Corvo. This weapon a good piece of technique, which can be upgraded. We go with the upgraded version ofcourse, which makes it very accurate. This combined with the very long range makes it truely a deadly weapon. The range of the weapon is not stated but in game, you can shoot an opponent miles away and it surpasses both weapons of the opponent in range easily. The weapon reloads very fast and can hold over ten bolts without a problem. The crossbow can fire three types of arrows. The normal arrows will wound the hero if he is hit in the body and might kill him with an headshot. This is rather easy done, as this weapon is actually meant for headshots. Then there are the sleepdarts, that will put an opponent to sleep instantly, which will making the kill rather easy and lastly the incendiary bolts that will put an opponent to fire. Overall, this crossbow packs power, speed, range and options in one tight package.
The pistol is another weapon completely. It has more power then the crossbow and can kill an opponent with a single shot in the body. This pistol however lacks in range, in speed and in ammuntion. With only four bullets before he has to reload, Corvo will need to use this weapon well or risk the chance that he runs out of ammo rather fast. Another problem with the pistol is that it makes a very hard sound when its fired. That means that using this weapon when hiding will betray the location of Corvo. The pistol can also fire exploding bullets that have a bit more power then normal bullets, other then that these bullets will do little.

- Now for the weapons against defense comparison. we will start off with the weapons of the hero against the protection of Corvo. Corvo does not have much protection against either the turret rifle or the crossbow. It might take a few more hits to take him down and especially headshots will take more hits then normal but other then that, Corvo has no chance against a bullet or a bolt. He wears no armour and cannot avoid ranged weapons easily. The quickest kill that the Hero has against Corvo is if the Hero shoots the chest of his opponent as the head of Corvo is somewhat protected with metal.
Now for the weapons of Corvo against the hero. The hero has a tougher body then any human due to his hero nature and his body is absolutely tougher then the one of Corvo. This means that he can stand more hits then Corvo can. His head is completely free however and a few wellplaced headshots can bring him down.
If we look at the two special darts that Corvo brings, the sleepdart will knock the hero uncoincious. I am not sure if the effect is directly or if it takes a little while but I believe, due to the tough nature of heroes in Fable, that it will actually take a bit of time for sleeping darts to take effect. I believe that the hero can still fight on for a bit before he collapses. The incendiary bolt will be usefull as well. It will burn the hero severely but not to the point of dead, seeing as the hero uses fire himself and has been burned before. However, the fire will be a very good distraction as he will be unable to fight while he is on fire.
The pistol might actually be able to kill the hero in two or three shots, depending where the hero gets hit and i can see the explosive bullets actually doing the job in only two shots.

- Now for the skill of both warriors with their weapons. Honestly, this will be very short. The hero posseses a lot of skill with both of his ranged weapons. He is an hero of skill after all. he can hit opponents from distances, sub target specific body parts and is just a plain good shot who knows his weapons well and can use them good.
Corvo is very skilled with his weapons as well. he has been training for a long time and is already known as a great warrior before the game begins. His skill only increase as he becomes more accurate with them and he knowns his weapons as well. Overall, both fighters are very skilled with their weapons.

- Which warrior gets the edge in long range? Both warriors have two very good weapons, which can be used to the best of their abilities. in my opinion, the best weapons are the perforator of the hero and the crossbow from Corvo. Both bring range, speed and something extra to the battle that the other two weapons cannot surpass. Corvo gets some plus points for having more range with his crossbow but the Hero has the advantage of being able to take a lot of hits while he is holding the turret rifle. In the end, If I have to say which of these two weapons is best, I'd go with the crossbow. This because the crossbow has a longer range and has three sorts of bolts to choose from. The perforator is a close second. The rammer ends up third as he brings power and health but lacks speed and the pistol ends up last. It has power but the shortest range of all these weapons.
I still have to give an edge on who wins, because altough the crossbow is the best weapon, Corvo's other weapon is the least usefull.
I still think that Corvo will get the edge here. He relies a lot on his crossbow and will be able to use this weapon a lot and for multiple purposes. Where the turret rifle will be only used in ranged combat by the hero and switched around for other weapons as the two opponents get closer, the crossbow will be one of the main weapons of Corvo.
Small edge: Corvo Attano

Medium Range: The Red Dragon Versus Grenade, Sticky Grenade and the Spring Razor

- The hero brings the Red dragon for this midrange. This clockwork pistol is one of the very best weapons in Albion. It brings a lot of stopping power with it and can fire the bullets very fast. It reloads in less then a minute and can shoot his bullets in only seconds. This means that the red dragon can bring a lot of destruction  in only seconds and end the battle if used well. The two augmentations that this weapon has are good as well. The first increases the damage that it deals out while it lessens the damage that the hero recieves while using it. The other one increases the skill with this weapon even more. The only downside of the red dragon is the range. It has not much reach and can only really be used in medium range. In that range, the hero also has some powerfull will abilities so the weapon may not see as much action.

Corvo brings three weapons in this battle. The grenade and sticky grenades are just grenades, which will explode after a set period of time, ripping opponents apart and flinging them away. Both very usefull to end a battle. These grenades need to be thrown at the opponent and thus can only get as far as Corvo can throw. The spring razor is a booby trap that needs to be activated before it works but when it activates, the razors will take off the legs of the opponent and finish the fight.
All three of these weapons are very usefull to set a trap and kill the hero with surprise and all can be activated by Corvo in the way of shooting them.
Now the grenade is basic and usefull. However, if Corvo is in the blast radius, he will be blown away as well. This weapon also has the problem that it can bounce or roll away, or that the hero throws the grenade back. The sticky grenade has more advantages as it cannot roll or bounce away. Throwing it away will not work eiter but the hero can always walk away from the grenade if he notices it. If the sticky grenade sticks on his back or his dog, the Hero might not see it coming and will be blown away. For the spring razor, its a risky weapon. Corvo can put it down somewhere but he needs to make sure that the Hero actually walks there for it to become usefull. It should be noted that the spring razor will not activate when Corvo walks by but Corvo can get wounded if he is near when the thing goes of.

- Now for the weapons against defence. As I have said before, Corvo has no real protection other then his mask and the bullets of the red dragon will kill him. Granted, not the first bullet will directly kill but if the Hero fires all six directly at his chest, it will do the trick. Headshots might take a few more bullets but can still bring Corvo down.
As for the explosive weapons, i am rather sure that they can take the hero out. He is very durable but the grenades that rip limbs of humans migt be enough to take the hero out, especially if he is very close to the source. So in the end, neither Corvo or the Hero has much protection against the weapon of the other.

- A for skill. The hero is very skilled with all ranged weapons (hero of skill and all) He is also very skilled with this weapon due to its augmentation. I am pretty sure that the hero is dead on and can hit its mark very well.
The grenades do not need much skill otther then throw them correctly and the spring razor needs to be placed. The only skill there is to place them correctly for the weapons to work, something that Corvo can do.

- Now for the edge. Both warriors have good weapons. The hero has a very good ranged weapon that can take out his opponent in only seconds. the downside is the short range of the pistol. Corvo does not have point and fire weapons in this range. all his weapons are rather deadly but only usefull in a trap, when the opponent does not know its there. If the hero is near the grenades or spring razor when these activate he will be taken out but that is directly the problem. The hero needs to be there. If the hero is too far away, he will not be hit that hard and if the hero is not even in the neighberhood then the weapons fail at all.
In the end, I need to give the edge to the weapon that has more chance of hitting. The egde will be a small one though as Corvo has still three weapons that can blow the hero away when the hero springs the trap.
Small edge: Hero of Bowerstone

Close Range: The Daichi and the Chopper Versus Folding Blade

- Two melee weapons against one. The first melee weapon of the Hero is a katana. This curved weapon brings both speed and power to the battle. It can be used by one hand or two hands, gives the user more skill with the weapon and does electrical damage. I will ignore the love augmentation as it seems unlikely that this one will work against Corvo. Overall the most powerfull melee weapon in Fable and a deadly force in the hands of the Hero. The other weapon that the hero uses is another dangerous weapon. The Chopper is a large axe that need to be wielded with two hands. It is a weapon that deals a very hard punch but also one that is kinda slow to wield. The augmentations are not that great during the battle. Experience will only be usefull after the battle and less chance of scarring.... well I don't think the hero will be busy with his looks during the battle.
It should be noted that the hero can block with both weapons and peform flourishes that can break the block of the opponent. The hero can also chain attacks and even counter with ease.
Corvo brings his folding blade to this battle. Other then the ability to fold itself in, its just an average blade that is good in both assasinations and straight up fighting. That this weapon can be folded will not be of much use during this battle. The sword can block attacks and lock blades. When the two swords lock blades, they collide with each other and has Corvo the chance to kick his opponent away and attack. In rare cases, Corvo can peform an animated kill where he will block the sword of the opponent and counter.

- Both warriors can be taken down with swords. Neither wears much armour to protect themselfs. The hero can withstand more attacks but Corvo has his mask to protect his face. In the end, I believe that the hero can  take more punishment then Corvo can.

- Both warriors are masters with melee weapons and both now how to grab a chance when they get one.

-  In the end, this edge is a clear one. Corvo is an master swordfighter and knows how to kill his opponent. however, his skills with the sword are weak compared to the hero. The hero can break any block that Corvo throws, chain attacks to increase damage and can counter better then Corvo can. To finish it all, he has a tougher body. Corvo is good but the hero is just better. Seeing as the hero has two weapons to choose from instead of one gives even more reason to hand the edge over to him.
Medium edge: Hero of Bowerstone

Special one: Dog and Offensive Will Powers Versus offensive Abilities

- Lets first start with the odd one out. The dog is the compagnion of the hero and one of the true friends he has. This animal has a couple of good uses and will be especially good against this opponent. First of all, The dog himself can attack. He can growl at opponents and bite them. If an opponent falls on the ground, he can finish the victim off. It should be noted that altough the dog will not be a main killer, he willl be a good distraction however, as Corvo will need to put attention to two opponents. Another thing that the dog is good for is detecting ambushes. As soon as someone is hidden, the dog can find that person and bark so the hero will know where that person is.
As for offensive willpowers, the Hero has blades, force push, inferno, shock and vortex
Blades is a usefull little spell that will work well against this opponent. Targeted form will be the best but the area might get Corvo out of an hiding hole.
The force push, I do not see that effective. It works well against crowds but is rather useless against one person. This power needs to be used really close by the opponent, to blast them away and I suspect that the hero will prefer close by fighting. One good thing about this power is that it can disarm Corvo.
Inferno will be very usefull. Both in area and targeted, these fire power will be able to roast Corvo pretty well. The weakest form will be an okay distraction but the more powerfull forms will seriously harm Corvo.
The shock power will do good damage as well. Not only will it hurt a lot, but this will freeze Corvo in place as well as he gets shocked. I'd say that a little shock will be the setup for a bigger more fatal shock. Again both area and targeted will be very usefull.
The last one is vortex. I am not sure if Corvo will be lifted up entirely by this attack. The best it can do is push the opponent to the ground. I do see it used when Corvo throws a grenade however.

Corvo comes with special abilities of himself here. He brings devouring swarm, possession and windblast.
The devouring swarm is a group of rats that can be summoned, which will attack the opponent and either kill or distract the opponent. When the opponent is dead, they eat it.
The problem i have with these rats is that they are rather weak. Rats can be killed rather easily by humans and their strenght is their numbers. I think that the lowest form of inferno or shock will be able to kill alll the rats. They might be an distraction, but a short one.
Possesion can take the mind of an opponent. Now its not a lethal move itself, possesion can allow Corvo to escape dangerous spots or trap the user. Altough i am not sure if the hero will be able to be taken over, the dog will be. This will allow Corvo to get behind his opponent easily. If Corvo can take over the hero, that means that Corvo can droven when the Hero gets pushed against a wall, he survived worse. At most, windblast will be used to distract the Hero.

- Now to compare weapons against defense. The dog will hurt Corvo a lot. A few times kill him, but mostly hurt. With that, are the detection and distraction  that Corvo cannot stop. The powers that both guys have mostly negate armour whatsoever. i cannot compare these powers against defense.

- Again, Both guys are incredible skilled. No question there.

- Who gets the edge? The hero has 6 weapons here, of which four will be very effective and deadly. Two may help out as well but not so much. Corvo only has three abilities. None of them are lethal and two might be usefull if set up correctly. The devouring swarm will not work that much and will see use very little time.
I think its rather clear that the Hero dominates with actual good and usefull killers.
Large edge: Hero of Bowerstone

Special Two: Other Willpowers Versus The Mask, the Heart and Other Abilities.

- First of all, i want to discuss something important here. Both the Hero and Corvo have time controlling powers. The Hero can slow time around him or speed it up for himself while Corvo can stop time completely for a few seconds. Will these powers work on each other? I think not. As both are not afflicted by their own time powers, it makes sense that they will not be affected by the time effects of the other. with Corvo I know that his time controll does not work on others who have recieved powers from the outsider and that the time powers of others will not work on him. Having said that, the hero will be able to speed time up for himself and rush behind the opponent as he uses it on himself rather then his opponent.
The hero brings chaos, raise dead and time controll here. Chaos is a good technique to distract the opponent. With this power, the opponent gets a mask and may act strangely. Will this effect Corvo? I think very little. It will only effect him for a very little time, this will be rather the same as with possesion of the hero. So it might distract a bit, but not much unless the hero releases his strongest chaos.
Raise dead will be very effective. If there are fresh bodies in the ground. They will be summoned and even if there are none, the hobbes will be able to fight. They fight in a group and will not be as easily killed as rats. These undead will be a great distraction.
Lastly there is timecontroll. I already talked about that and that slowing time will not slow down the opponent. speeding himself up will work however and that is a great way to get behind the opponent.

Corvo brings a couple of things in this battle. First of them is the mask. The mask can zoom into the hero to see him from a large distance. If this is combined with the crossbow, the crossbow could do massive damage. the same goes for the pistol. The mask will be very usefull for getting the first hit in.
The heart will be able to whisper secrets to Corvo. This way Corvo find out something about the hero and it might tell him the strenghts of the hero and something about his powers.
Corvo also has blink, dark vision and bend time. Blink will be rather usefull. The ability to shoot forwards at high speed will be good in dodging attacks but also to keep away from the opponent. I dont see this being used to get behind the hero as the two would only collide with each other.
Dark vision  will be good if the Hero is hidden. However, the Hero will not like to hide and I dont see this being used much, other then in the begin of the battle. Still usefull to have though.
As I have said before, the most powerfull ability in the arsenal of Corvo is kinda useless in the this battle.

- None of these really effect the opponent or their defense so its hard to compare here.

- Both are very skilled in what they do and are really masters.

- Now who gets the egde. Both opponents have some very usefull weapons and abilities here that will be of use during the battle. Which of these powers is better?
The hero has three powers of which two will be very good. Corvo has five weapons/abilities of which three willl be usefull as well.
The edge here goes to Corvo as his weapons here work better with each other and for his stealth action.
Even though he gets the edge, its a small edge.
Small edge: Corvo Attana

Experience:
Both guys have faced all different kinds of opponents. Creatures, humans and humans with superpowers. Both have encountered all kinds of weapons, including guns and both have faced opponents larger then themselfs.
It seems that both will know how to deal with each other, however, there is one small detail which will decide the edge.
Corvo has faced a lot of straight up brawlers. in fact, most opponents in the game are straight up fighters. The hero has never faced someone who uses stealth to win battle and who hides in the shadow. This is rather important and puts Corvo on the advantage.
Small edge: Corvo Attano

Motivation: Revenge Versus Revenge
I am going to keep this one rather short. Both fighters fight for revenge. Both have gone through incredible things just for that revenge. I am not going to say who deserves their revenge more, I keep this one an even.
Edge: Even

Tactics: Attack Versus Steath
This edge seems rather obvlious to me... Attack is great and throwing in everything you have seems like a good option. However, when your opponent uses stealth, it will be a lot harder for you to find him and easier for him to take you out. Stealth will win over charging in as the battle begins. However, when the two face in combat, the hero has an edge as he will be able to use more power then his opponent has, who will be seeking to hide again.
Lastly the dog will help the hero out by warning the man. The final edge goes to Corvo as he will be able to kill his opponent more often by simply hiding and hitting with ranged attacks. Still not a large edge as the Hero comes back good in close quarters.
Medium edge: Corvo Attano

The battle:

Corvo slowly made his way through the forest. He knew what he had to do. Creeping through the forest, he tried to stay in the shadows of the trees.Altough he could not see anybody, there was still the risk that Corvo would be seen. If he had been seen, his biggest advantage was gone. He had an important mission, which had to be  Earlier this day he had been warned by the outsider. The outsider had said that a man would come to take Lady Emily away. This man would bring her to an blind woman in a different land and that the blind woman would use Emily in a ritual sacrifice. Lady Emily was not be hurt as long as Corvo still was alive.
After traveling for a while, Corvo finally encountered a man in the forest. this man looked a bit like a thug, with ripped clothing and a bandana on his head. 'How long do we still have to wait?' The man complained. Another voice replied. 'Untill someone comes along we can rob idiot.' A voice suddenly replied. This indicatated that at least two thugs were walking around here. Seconds later, two more of these thugs appeared. A quick use of the dark vision revealed that only these three men walked around these parts of the woods. Corvo stepped from behind a tree, while still invisible for the three thugs and killed one of them with a quick stab of his sword in the neck. The man went down with a soft moan and as he fell on the ground, turned into ashes. Two more left, Corvo thought as he planted a spring razor on the ground, knowing that one of these would walk here. Corvo walked away slowly and took his crossbow. A soft sound indicated that the trap had worked and a loud yell of pain confirmed it. Both of the legs of the thug had been cut off and he died seconds later.
The yell had alarmed the third thug, who walked around with his sword ready. 'Where are you.' he spoke to the trees. 'Bloody hell appear now!' The man yelled, clearly in panic. As the thug was searching for the opponent, he never saw the crossbow bolt heading for him. It took the thug in the back of his head and the man fell on the ground, to turn in ashes.
With these three thugs taken care off, Corvo was ready to continue.
The travel through the woods continued on and Corvo came across no living creature save for some rabbits and birds.
Suddenly Corvo came across a track in the ground, where people have walked. Following the track, Corvo spotted four soldiers.  It was to be expected that men of the lord regent would hang around here.
Corvo slowly walked up behind one of the soldiers and prepared to kill the man. 'Is he coming?' one of the three spoke. 'yes, he is.' came the answer. 'Will three be enough?' The first man asked. 'Hope so.' the second soldier answered again.
Just before Corvo could make the kill, the man turned around. It was only by chance that the man turned around and saw the masked assasin. The soldier cried out for help and recieved the edge of a blade in his neck as reward. The other two soldiers had now been alarmed and ran at Corvo, both drawing pistols to hold next to their swords. Knowing that fighting these two at the same time would be hard, Corvo summoned a swarm of rats around one of the soldiers. As the soldier tried desperately to fight off the rats, the other lunged at Corvo. The two fighters engaged into a duel where both the soldier and Corvo pushed each other backwards. The man lashed at Corvo with his sword and the fighter blocked it with ease. Corvo then moved to slash off the swordhand of the man.
The blade of the man fell in the grass and his hand followed a second later. As the soldier howled in pain, Corvo used the moment to quickly kill him. After the soldier dropped lifeless to the ground, Corvo turned and looked at the soldier that had been fighting the rats. The rats were gone and the only thing left was the body of the soldier.
Corvo turned to follow the path, when suddenly he heard voices. Thinking the better of it, Corvo hid in the bushes and saw three men ran in his direction. These men had the same look as the bandits he had killed before. Following them was another man, who send a blast of fire that killed one of the bandits. This man had short brown hair, was dressed in traveling clothing and was followed by a dog.

The hero stood eye in eye with three men. These three had the look of soldiers around them and were armed with guns and swords. Before any of the three could react, the Hero send an electric shockwave towards the three. The soldiers got hit with electricity before any of them knew what was happening. Following this, the hero took out the perforator and fired at one of these soldiers. As he went down, the hero aimed a shot at the second soldier and killed him. Before the hero could shoot the last of the three soldiers, men suddenly appeared out of the bushes and trees surrounding the hero. This was an ambush. The hero turned and saw how four more of these strange soldiers came to join the fight. He knew that this quest was not going to be easy but sparrow would never have guessed that it would be this hard.
The blind woman had summoned the Hero one day and asked him to get a little girl for her. Not only would this girl grow out to be a hero of her own, she also was in hands of evil men who would give her to Lucius. Knowing what Lucius did with children, especially those with the gift.
Now the hero stood in the forest, being surrounded by familiar and unknown enemies.
'Give up here.' One of the bandits yelled. 'You have no place to go.' One of the soldiers yelled out. 'ready boy?' The hero asked as he looked at his dog. The answer came in the form of a bark and the Hero took a deep breath. The first move of the Bowerstone born was to slow time for a short time. As all his opponents moved in slowmotion, the Hero loaded his spell again and this time slowed time far longer. The hero fired off another shot from his perforator and then reached for the red dragon. The pistol riddled two of the bandits with bullets and before they could fall on the ground, the fighter prepared a inferno. Time returned to normal and as all the soldiers and bandits recovered, the hero unleashed an area spell that took out a lot of them. A few even started to burn before they died. 'Get him!' A bandit yelled as he rushed towards the hero with his sword drawn. The attack from the bandit got blocked and before he got the chance to attack, he got skewered by the daichi.
A soldier ran at the \hero this time but before the man could even reach the hero, the dog jumped the man and ripped his throat apart.
The hero looked at surviving six opponents. None of them looked at the man he had been warned for. The masked killer who would try and kill the hero during this quest. The last surviving soldier made ready to kill the hero with a pistol but before the man could fire, five swords appeared out of thin air and impaled the opponent.
The surviving five bandits looked at each other and then suddenly ran. The hero followed them and managed to kill one of them with a fireball. Two of the bandits turned towards the hero and attacked him. Each from one side. The hero stepped away and used his force push to get the two away and on the ground. With both men down, the Hero stabbed one in the chest while he saw how his dog ripped out the throat of the other one.
Now only two opponents remained. Using his time ability to rush forwards, The hero managed to get behind one of the fighters and slashed the man a couple of times in the back, killing him. He then turned to the other opponent, who managed to block the attack just in time. Another attack got blocked  as well but for the third attack, the hero used a flourish that pushed the sword away. The man fell seconds later.
The hero looked at all the corpes on the ground. He had never guessed that Lucius would hire simple bandits to try and stop the hero from saving this girl. He also wondered where this masked opponent would be and if this man would be stronger then the average bandit. I'l just see it when I meet him, the Hero thought as he followed the path.

Corvo watched how the man battled multiple opponents. At least now, he knew where the opponent was he had to kill. Taking the heart out, Corvo aimed it at the man. 'From a special lineage, this one has battled strong opponents and has powerfull magic to aid him.' A soft voice spoke in the head of Corvo. Hoping he had enough info, Corvo put the heart away and took out his crossbow. Lets see if I can kill him with one shot, the assassin thought. Using the scope in his mask for precision, Corvo aimed and shot his crossbow.
The bolt missed just a hair's lenght and it alerted the opponent. Cursing himself, Corvo used blink to move away from his opponent. Seconds later, he heard a loud bang and saw how the stranger was holding a large gun. The man fired its weapon another few times and then moved to inspect the bushes. Knowing he had another chance, the assassin put another bolt on his crossbow. This time it was a sleeping bolt. Before the man could fire it however, the dog of the opponent barked into his direction and the stranger walked straight towards him. He still made the shot, hoping to hit the enemy in the chest and the man to sleep. The other fighter saw the dart coming, rolled away and then drew a pistol. Corvo planted a spring razor on the ground and used blink to get away just before the man opened fire.

'Bam! Bam! Bam!' The red dragon rattled as it fired its ammo at the bushes. Nothing, the opponent had dissapeared again. Moving this fast, The hero was sure that the man facing him had the blood of the ancient heroes in him. No other person could move that quickly around. As the warrior neared the bushes, Cerberus suddenly started to bark. 'Whats wrong boy?' The hero asked as the dog kept barking towards the bushes. Very clever, he thought when the man turned to inspect the bushes. What he saw was a nasty looking trap. Turning again, Cerberus barked again. This time the dog ran towards a tree and the Bowerstone born followed. An arrow shot from behind the tree, which hit another tree. To great surprise, the tree that had been hit suddenly started to burn. This time it was for the hero to act and he shot a fireball towards the tree. The fireball hit the tree and the Oakvale warrior jumped behind it with his sword drawn.
Behind the tree stood an man wearing a steel mask. This man was holding a sword as well and a pistol.
The two swords met as the fighters duelled it out. The hero moved to slash his opponent, who blocked the attack and kicked the Hero away. The man then aimed his pistol at the hero and before he could fire, the hero pushed the opponent away with force push.

Corvo got pushed against the ground by an invisible force as he unleashed  the power of his pistol. In a quick succesion, the assassin fired all the bullets at the opponent but none of them hit target. Putting away the empty gun, Corvo attano reached in time and tried to stop it for a few seconds. The birds stopped singing and a goat stopped in its tracks but the opponent facing Corvo did not stop at all.  O my, he thought. only a very few times had someone been uneffected by the time stopping and every time, the opponent proved dangerous and hard to kill.
Corvo switched over to windblast and blew the other warrior away. The hero smashed with a loud thud against a tree.
Not watching if the move had killed his opponent, knocked him out merely pushed the fighter back, Corvo used the shadows and the trees to dissapear.
The hero stood up and rubbed his head. He had survived worse but his head still hurt. Later, he would think about getting a helmet, now he only wanted to kill the assassin.
Corvo saw how his opponent moved towards the place that the two had just battled and he summoned a small army of rats to attack the opponent. Corvo was not sure if this would kill him but this would at least distract the opponent while he would take out that damned dog. The rats however proved no match against a small area inferno. They burned quickly and Corvo barely had time to prepare a bolt. He shot it to the dog but to his surprise it missed. Deciding that that force had to be employed, Corvo threw a grenade at his opponent and the dog. The hero saw the grenade coming and send a small tornado in to push the grenade offcourse and let it explode in the air. He then attempted to slow time and ran towards the bushes.
The hero saw how his opponent moved away at normal speed, finding that slowing time had no effect against this opponent.
As both man and dog ran towards the assassin, Corvo threw another grenade which hit the dog on the back. instead of exploding, this grenade sticked on the dog.
The hero saw how a grenade sticked on Cerberus. 'Noo.' he yelled. Not daring to come close in fear of getting near the explosion but fearfull for his dog, the hero did not know how to handle this situation.
Corvo had managed to reload his pistol again and aimed at the grenade on the dog. A shot went off and the grenade exploded.
The dog, Cerberus, dropped on the ground. he was dead. The hero quickly ran towards his compagnion and saw to his dismay that nothing could be done about it. No cooky would help him anymore. 'You killed Cerberus.' The hero spoke at the masked man. No reply came and the assassin used this moment to shoot the hero, sending three bullets in the chest.
The hero fell backwards on the ground with a loud cry. Corvo just watched the man fall. He had been a tough opponent but in the end died as any other man.

Corvo turned around as he heard noises behind him. It was the Hero who stood up again and had a determend look on his face. 'You killed Cerberus.' The man yelled. The two swords met again and each of the fighters moved with all his strenght and power.
. Knowing that he could win this fight, Corvo kicked his opponent away and drew his crossbow. An incenary bolt was ready to be shot and he aimed it at the chest of his opponent. Before Corvo could pull the trigger, swords appeared in the air near his opponent. These swords suddenly shot forwards, towards Corvo. The assassin ducked away with all his speed but still got hit in the chest and the arm by these ghostly swords. He howled in pain and ran away, trying to flee to a safe place. His opponent suddenly rushed forwards with incredible speed and stood in front of Corvo, blade at ready. He is not human, Corvo thought. He knew he had to get away quickly or be killed. trying blink, Corvo shot forwards towards a tree and he saw how his opponent followed with a similair spell. Having a back up plan in mind, Attano took controll of a rabbit.
From the eyes of the small creature, Corvo saw how the other fighter looked confused, searching for the opponent. Considering attacking from behind, Corvo quickly decided against this tactic, fearing that any of those area spells might hit him. The rabbit walked towards some bushes and trees and changed back into human form. This was not the first animal to be killed this day. Thinking of another way to kill the target, Corvo never saw how his opponent used a spell named raise dead. Shadows of the bandits that had been killed earlier suddenly stood up and all walked towards Corvo. The man knew that hiding was useless against these creatures and send a bolt flying towards one of these things. To his surprise, Corvo saw how the bolt went through the spirit without harming the creature. Another came into swordreach and Corvo attempted an attack with his folding blade, only to see how this weapon had no effect as well. Corvo was not a man to fear for his life but now he was afraid he would lose and not save lady Emily. In an last attempt to defend himself against the creatures, Corvo used a windblast. This seemed to work as one of the bandits got pushed back and hit the ground, only to dissapear.
The Hero saw how this killer defended himself against the dead. He himself was creating his strongest fireball as the other man fought for his life. When it was ready, The hero send it flying towards Corvo. The fireball exploded and Corvo got pushed against a tree. The dead dissapeared as they got consumed by the fire.
The Hero was now holding the axe he had won a very long time ago and he swung it with all the power he possesed. Only the the agility of Corvo saved him as he jumped away from the blade. Another attack was blocked and now Corvo was ready to fight again. Wounded and in pain, he still managed to slash at the hero ad hit the fighter in the chest and leg. Another attack missed as the hero rolled away, stood up and attacked again. Corvo blocked the attack and managed to block another attack from the axe. With the third attack, the hero flourished and broke the defense of Corvo. Using this advantage, the hero mounted an attack that rammed the mask of Corvo. Corvo stepped backwards as he tried to collect his wits again. This opponent was a demon with blades and magic alike. If he was to survive, Corvo needed the shadows and he needed them now. Corvo prepared to use blink but before he could escape, electricity hit him. The Hero walked towards Corvo as the latter could not move. Courtesy of shock. With a loud cry, the Hero slammed the edge of his axe against the chest of Corvo and ripped the flesh. Corvo fell on the ground and attemped to use his folding blade that got quicky pushed aside. 'FOR CERBERUS!' The Hero yelled as he beheaded his opponent. Corvo was dead. His head lay next to the bloody remains of his body.

'Cerberus.' The hero said as he knelt down besides his dog. The animal had been a loyal friend for a long time and saved the hero for even longer. Even during this last battle, the dog had aided in getting the victory. Still, there was a mission to finish. Just before the hero could make a step, he saw
someone stepping out if the shadow of a tree. It was a very small man, almost looking like a human hobb. 'Wonderfull fight.' the small man said with a highpitched voice. The hero drew his sword, preparing to defend himself, only to see the small man smiling and pushing the sword away with his cane in a casual manner. The small man had no beard but a very large and complex mustache. 'I am not here to fight you, you idiot.' The high voice came again. 'This was a wonderfull fight and i want to congratulate you.' The hero now only was confused as he put his weapon away. 'Lets see. First your dog....yes that would be polite.' The small man then moved towards the lifeless body of Cerberus and  hit it with his cane. Seconds later, the dog opened his eyes again and started barking. 'Cerberus?" The hero yelled out in surprise. 'That is not all.' The small man said. 'As a reward for defeating this opponent, you will get a prize.' 'What prize?' The hero did not understand anything about this at all. The odd small man did not seem to bother about it and only smiled. 'Your first reward is the ability to summon rats for a short amount of time.'  The Bowerstone hero could only look surprised as he got hit on the head by the cane. He could not feel anything different but he knew that something had changed. 'Now take out your crossbow.' The man said. The hero did as commanded and the man hit the weapon with his cane. 'Now you can use sleeping bolts and incendiary bolts with your crossbow. that body should hold some again.' The hero nodded and walked towards the body. 'One last thing.' the small man spoke. turning around, the hero listened, wondering what would come next. 'Your quest is over.' However, these words were not spoken with the highpitched voice but with the voice of the blind woman. before he could respond, the small man was gone.

Well this was a very close match but both guys scored better in different ways. Corvo is a master assassin and knows how to kill without an opponent noticing it. Most of his kills would be sneaky ones that the Hero would never suspect. What is more, he had better tactics that would have helped a lot.
However, here I look at who would be better in a battle and not who would kill the most sneaking around.
In a direct battle, Corvo had no way to stand up against the hero. Both in melee combat and with magic, the hero was just far superior. The dog would also mess up a lot of traps and even find the hidden Corvo.
In this match, the warrior with the most edges lost against the opponent with the biggest edges.

The hero as aquired the ability to summon rats. these will attack and devour his opponents if given the chance. this power will work the same as the real willpower. the more power behind the will attack, the more rats will appear. however, all of them only remain for a short time.
The hero will also be able to be equiped with incendary bolts and sleeping bolts. he will be provided with 10 bolts for each before the next match. these bolts will work with the rammer.
