When they were out the door, Shikamaru spoke to the other two. 'I want you guys pack your stuff now and we will meet at the southern gate in twenty minutes.' The other two nodded and ran to get their gear. What a bummer, Shikamaru thought.
Twenty minutes later, all three were ready to go. With Shikamaru in front, they hurried towards the point located in the letter. It was in the forest, not far from the hidden leaf village. When they arrived, Shikamaru looked at the open spot. 'Rock Lee, I want you as bait, step into the open spot. TenTen is your back up and will attack from far with Kunai. I will keep behind the tree to catch them with my jutsu.' 'Right.' Rock Lee and Tenten reacted. However before they could go to their places, they heard a voice. 'Not what I was expecting but it will do.' Then all three of the ninja were lifted up in the air and everything went white. When they came down again, they were no longer in the forest. 'What kind of jutsu is this?' Rock Lee asked. 'I do not know.' Came the answer of Shikamaru. They stood in the sand of an arena of sorts. All the exits were guarded by hooded figured and stone soldiers. One of the hooded figured walked over to them and spoke with a cold voice. 'Sit down.' 'I will not.' Rock Lee replied as he got into a offensive stance. Just at that moment, they saw how someone in plate armour got smashed into the ground by a large green hand. Shikamaru put his hand on the shoulder of his fellow ninja and said: 'It better to sit down and wait what will happen.'
The hero stepped into the chamer just as Jack put his katana in front of the throat of the woman. 'Have you enjoyed seeing the guild burn hero?' Jack asked with a smile. He then slashed the throat of the woman. The mother of the hero in front of him. 'NOOOOO!' The hero yelled. As the woman fell on the ground, a sword appeared. This was the weapon he had been waiting on for so long. It was finally here and Jack would be the most powerfull being once again. He grabbed the hilt of the sword, ready to to use it against the hero. Just when Jack was about to fight, he got lifted up in the air and everything went white before his eyes. 'What is happening?' Jack yelled out surprised. It could not be the hero who had done this, maybe the traitor Maze or that awful Guildmaster.
When Jack could finally see again, he was in some some sort of arena. Other then the witchwood arena, this one did not have a big fence and the seats of the spectators were closer to the ground. All around him, he saw people appearing. There were hooded figures and strange golems who moved for everybody who just appeared to take a seat. Curious, the man himself sat down to see what would happen and which strange power managed to summon him here.
'Are you ready?' Scott asked 'Jawel.' The the blue beast answered. Both X-men were ready to enter the dangerroom. This was a simulation device to train their combat abilities and considering they fought often, it was good to keep training. Taking both of his swords, the blue mutant named Nightcrawler stepped into the device, followed by the other mutant. 'Start.' Scot yelled and suddenly the room changed into a part of New York. Then suddenly, Nightcrawler got lifted up in the air, white before his eyes.'Cyclops!.' He yelled in panick. Kurt did not know what was happening but he did know that the dangerroom could not do this. 'Hold on Kurt.' He heard the other man yell. He was then gone.
'What happened?' Cyclops asked loudly. 'Computer, scan the building for a sign of Kurt.' He said. At that moment, the woman named Storm entered. 'Ironman was just in the mansion. Captain America is missing, some dark force took him.' he said. 'Iron man asked if the professor can find the Captain using Cerebro.' she explained. 'No sign of Nightcrawler in the building or the grounds.' Came the report of the computer. 'What?' Storm asked. 'There are two people missing now.' Cyclops answered with a serieus voice.
'Another challenger.' Sabrina spoke with a smile. The gymleader walked up to girl with a smile. 'Where are you from?' She asked the trainer. 'Kalos.' Came the answer from the girl. 'Ahh I see.' Sabrina smiled. She had not been to Kalos but knew that there were some powerfull psychic type pokemon there and this type was her speciality. 'This will be a three on three battle' Sabrina explained. 'You can switch in during the fight, I cannot. Good luck.' Now the formalities were over, it was time to take out this opponent. Her first pokemon would be Alakazam, hopefully he was enough to destroy this trainer. If not, then Sabrina had five other pokemon that could do the trick.
'Go Gourgeist.' The girl spoke. a pokemon appeared from its ball that had two faces. one pink on top and the other brownish and dark on the stomach. It looked like a pumkin. This must be one of those Kalos pokemon, Sabrina thought. She did not know this pokemon, nor the type it had. This made the gourgeist a dangerous opponent. Picking the pokeball containing Alakazam, she was just about to unleash it when Sabrina got picked up in the air. What was happening? Was this a trick from the pokemon or was something else happening. One thing was sure, Sabrina did not foresee this happening. Suddenly everything went white and her vision only returend when she landed on sand. 'What is happening here?' She asked out loud. The hooded figure near her did not say anything. The person simply pointed towards a seat, indicating her to take a place there. Sabrina looked around and saw a few other people seated as well. Sabrina quickly checked her pokeballs. All six were still with the woman, so she was prepared for whatever would come.
'This will end here Deathstroke.' A young boy said from a rooftop. 'Really, do you have Batman with you?' The man named Deathstroke asked with a smile. 'Not him but I do have others with me.' Came the reply. 'Titans go!' Robin then yelled as he threw his batarangs at the opponent. Deathstroke smiled as he moved away. 'Is that all?' 'No' Came the answer from aside, followed by a blast. Before the assasin noticed what was happening, he got blasted into the arms of a giant green gorilla.
An elbow to the ribs freed Deathstroke from the iron grip and he kicked Cyborg just before the other could attack himself. 'You should have called the justice leage.' Deathstroke commented. Just then, a starbolt hit him in the chest. Following this attack, some rocks trashcans flew towards Deathstroke. The assasin avoided the attacks and kicked Raven in the chest, sending her backwards. He then took out his staff and knocked starfire away. Cyborg and Beastboy were now running towards the warrior but had to jump away and avoid the blast of a grenade.
Now Robin was figthing Deathstroke. Both were using staffs. The battle was intense and both tried their hardest but the combat experience and strenght of Deathstroke was showing and Robin lost ground quickly.
'This will be your end.' Deathstroke said with a smile. However before he could finish the fight, the warrior suddenly got lifted up in the air as everthing went white before his eyes. As Robin watched Deathstroke getting lifted up, Beastboy suddenly suffered the same fate. 'Raven?' Robin asked. 'Not my doing.' Came the answer. 'Starfire, get him down.' The boy wonder then said. 'Okay' Came the answer as Starfire flew up to her teammate and tried to him down. This did not work, even with her strenght. Robin then threw a batarang with a rope on it at Beastboy. All had forgotten their opponent. 'Cyborg pull on the rope.' Robin said. 'Raven, try to force Beastboy down.' The two titans went to work. Nothing thet tried worked and suddenly, Beastboy dissapeared. With him, he took Cyborg and Starfire. As Robin looked around, he noticed that Deathstroke was missing as well. 'What happened?' Raven asked as she landed near Tim Drake. 'I have no clue but this cannot be good.' The boy answered.
'What is happening here!' Nightmare yelled out confused. One moment he was standing in his own arena, ready to battle Raphael with soul edge and then everything went white. He had heard the other man yell and then the sound died away. Now he was standing here in another arena, full of sand. All different people were here, men and woman he had never met before. Did they all want soul edge? there were also stone soldiers and hooded men around and one of these hooded figures moved for Nightmare to take a seat. 'Tell me where I am.' Nightmare demanded. 'Sit down.' The hooded man now said, ignoring Nightmare. 'Tell me what this is!' Nightmare now yelled as he tried to grab the hooded man with his large hand. The man stepped backwards and out of nowhere, a giant green hand appeared. The hand picked up Nightmare and smashed the fighter into the ground. the hand then picked up the warrior again and threw him against a seat. 'Stay there.' The man said before walking away.
These new warriors proved to be an interesting lot. With more men, Eon had more controll on these strong warriors. there would be no more uncontrolled fights and none of these new warriors would be able to touch Eon. One of the hooded men walked away from the croud and towards Eon. 'Are they all seated Dante?' Eon asked. The man nodded, which brought a smile to the face of the host. Almost everything had gone according to plan. The only thing he had not planned was the addition of two more fighters from the teen titans. Eon had planned for only Beastboy to be here but it seemed that both Starfire and Cyborg were here as well. Not that it was a problem, the three would fight in a team and this would only mean more soldiers for his cause and more powers to use to his advantage.
'Welcome everyone.' Eon spoke as he stepped into the middle of the battleground.
During the next moments, Eon explained to the warriors why they were here and that each had to fight the others untill only one still stood. this winner would get the grand prize of this island and his desire granted. Then Eon went on to tell how each warrior would get a power from one of his opponents.
The warriors listened silently and a few times some yelled anything. there were no attacks against Eon.
'There will be three fights each day.' Eon said. He had learned one thing from his last tournament. These fighters tended to get bored, so it was important to have this tournament as short as possible. 'One in the morning, one during sundown and one in the evening. This way the two gods of sun and moon can watch all the fighting.' The host said with a grin. None of the fighters responded to this odd man. 'Now there are three small groups of people. If one faces them, they will aquire a ability of one of these fighters. When one of a group is beaten or killed, the others have to do without that person, Eon added.
The man walked up to the fighters and smiled at the woman named Sabrina. She only looked angry and her hand sneaked towards an old whip. 'One thing.' Eon said as he walked towards the middle. 'if any of you fight without my permission, you will not only severly punished. You will also not gain any power from the defeated opponent' With that said, the man walked backwards to near the end of the arena. 'But enough talking here. let us fight.´ He smiled. The best part was starting now. ´First fight will be here and now. Link Versus Nightcrawler!´
A young man with blond hair and a green outfit stepped into the arena, looking confused. link had never guessed that he would be the first fighter after hearing this host talk. One moment he was fighting Gannondorf and the second moment he was here. Well if the young hero wanted to save princes Zelda, then he needed to get back. That meant winning this tournament. If he could get some new powers in the process would only be better. Picking up his shield and mastersword, Link was ready to battle.
When Nightcrawler heard his name, he stood up. The mutant jumped down the steps and into the sand, where he went to stand on the other side of his opponent. There he took a deep bow. 'I am the incredible Nightcrawler.' Kurt said. 'To whom do I have the pleasure?' 'Link.' Came the answer of the young man, who took a small bow.
'Fight or I will have you both killed.' Eon yelled out and as a result, two hooded men stepped forwards.
'It will be a pleasure fighting you.' Nightcrawler said with a smile as he took his two swords. 'I agree.' Link added as he poised to attack.
The X-man started the fight and attacked his opponent with two swords. The other blocked the attacks using his shield and came in with a slash of his own that got deflected. Nightcrawler jumped over a slash that was aimed at the feet of the mutant and he kicked the Hyrulian in the chest. Nightcrawler attacked with his left sword and Link countered with his own. Using his shield, he bashed the creature in the face, forcing Kurt backwards. Just before Link could attack again, Kurt dissapeared.
The mutant appeared again to the side of Link and attacked. The other quickly turned spinned around, pushing Nightcrawler back. Following this, Link performed a charge attack that knocked his opponent down. Knowing he had the other man, link attacked with a thrust. The tail of Nightcrawler swooped in and grabbed the hand of Link.. Nightcrawler then dissapeared. When Nightcrawler appeared in mid air, he slammed both feet against Link and send the other guy in the sand. 'You are an impressive swordsman.' Kurt said with a german accent. 'Thanks.' Link said as he stood up. Following that, Link Charged. Just before his opponent, Link rolled around and attacked from the back. Nightcrawler did a salto to avoid the attack and then jumped up to deliver a kick in the face of the other man.
Now it was the turn of Link to jump up. He slammed his opponent out of the way and impaled the ground with his sword. This created a shockwave thant floured Nightcrawler. Taking this uppertunity, Link threw a bomb towards his opponent. Just before the bomb went off, Nightcrawler dissapeared.
Link took up his bow. No matter where the opponent would appear, Link would shoot him. Nightcrawler appeared and Link fired his bow. The arrow was just inches off and when Link went to attack again, Nightcrawler was gone as well. Not being phazed by this, Link kept his bow ready. This time however, Nightcrawler appeared above Link and crashed into him. The two struggled for a bit and when Link finally was able to get free, he saw how his bow got thrown away. Attacking head on, Link managed to cut his opponent before the other could jump away. Link continued on by throwing his boomerang, which hit Nightcrawler in the chest and stunned the fighter. Link picked up another bomb and threw it towards his enemy. The bomb exploded and threw Nightcrawler around. Link charged a beam from his sword but before it could hit, Nightcrawler was gone again. 'You are a good opponent mein freund.' The mutant said with a smile as he grabbed Link again. Then the two dissapeared.
The two warriors appeared again high in the air, where Nightcrawler dropped Link before dissapearing. Link fell on the sand, completely in pain. It had been a hard fall, but he was still ready to go. As Link tried to stand up. Nightcrawler appeared, punched him in the face and dissapeared. Appearing again on the other side, Nightcrawler now delivered a kick and dissapeared. This continued on for a couple of seconds untill Link crashed into the ground. Now Nightcrawler was suddenly on top of his opponent, having one foot on the swordarm of Link while his tail took the master sword. His His swords where on the shieldarm and throat. 'i feel no joy in killing you so please surrender.' The X-man spoke. 'I surrender.' Link said.
'Wonderfull.' Eon stepped out of the shadow. 'great fight!' Eon said. He walked up the the x-man and moved his hands. 'You are now fully healed.' As the host spoke, Nightcrawler did indeed fell refreshed. Just as Kurt Wagnar wonderd about this magic, the host created a shield out of thin air. This shield looked exactly like the one used by his opponent. When the host gave it to Kurt, he said: 'This is an exact copy of the shield used by Link. It is yours to use.' 'Danke.' Kurt said with a smile as he held the shield up high. he then dissapeared and appeared on his seat. 'This is how all the battles will be held, altough on different locations on the island.'Eon began to all the fighters. 'You don't have to watch the other fights but can if you wish to. That is all up to you.' Eon then walked towards Link, who was still beaten and bloodied. 'You have fought wonderfull and therefore will be send home.' Eon spoke loud so everybody could hear it. In front of everybody, Link got send away. 'The next fight will be announced during the day, as will its location.' Eon said. He then moved his hands. 'Now Go!' With that, everybody left their seats.
Link was confused. The man had said he would go home but this was not home. Link had no clue where he was. It seemed like a dark underground room. Suddenly Link felt somone kick him and the hero flew towards a table with chains. The person who had kicked him was a masked warrior, dressed in yellow. As Link hit the table, the chains suddenly came to life and wrapped themselfs around his wrists and ancles. He then got pulled on the table. 'The first one.' A woman's voice spoke. 'Yes.' Came then answer of man. The man to whom the voice belonged to appeared and looked at Link. It was an older man with grey hair and a small grey beard. A sword of light appeared and flew towards Link, who could not move. That was the last thing he saw.
'That was a great fight soldier.' A man suddenly spoke to Nightcrawler. He turned around and saw Captain America walking towards him. 'You here as well?' Kurt asked. 'I'm afraid so.' Came the response of the captain. 'You are one of Xavier's men right?' The man with the big shield asked. 'Ja.' Came the answer. 'Very well.' Steve Rogers nodded. 'That was an impressive fight. You really fought well.' He complimented Kurt. 'Danke sir..' The other said, overjoyed that such a great hero gave him a compliment. 'It seems the two of us are in a dangerous zone.' Steve Rogers spoke. 'i think it is best if we stick together and support each other in the fights.' He continued on. 'That would be wonderbar.' Nightcrawler spoke out. 'One thing.' The captain added with a serious tone. 'Try not to use any german words. i have bad experiences with that.'
So, these brats were here as well... Deathstroke had no idea on what kind of force had brought him here but that did not matter for the moment. He would find that out sooner or later. That getting powers, that was rather interesting. The assasin loved power and Always wanted to get more. If he would win this tournament, his strenght would be absolute. with that, it was easy to take down the bat and superman. He would be the most desired assasin and with that came more power and wealth. Yes, this was going to be a rather interesting tournament.
Garth did not like to fight. He was a scholar and not a warrior. He could use his controll of Will to dish out damage to others but the man preferred doing research. This island and the way he had been send here were rather interesting and would needed to be looked into. It seemed some sort of portal that Garth had been sucked in. if this was the case, then there must be another end of this portal on this island. If Garth would be able to find this portal, he might arrange it to get home. It would not be the first time the man had worked with portals. However, to be able to study this all, Garth needed to stay in this competition. This host himself was hard to find out. His ideology was odd and it seemed that the man had a hidden agenda next to the fighting for the gods. Maybe Garth would find out what this agenda was, it was not a priority. No the fighters were more important to figur out. why were they here, what powers did they use, what fighting style and what personalities. Would these men be similair to hammer or more like Reaver? Now he really wished there was some sort of libary with all the info on the combatants. If he could research them, Garth had a better chance at winning. If there was a libary, the host had not mentioned it. There was one way of finding out and that was search for it. Another way to gauche the opponents was by simply observing their fights. That would be an ideal way and Garth knew he had to get and see all fights himself. There would be a lot of traveling in involved but the scholar did not mind. As long as he would win his fights. Garth only hoped he did not need to fight before he got the chance to observe the powers of others.
The sun god and the moon god, What an odd names for two gods. These were two that Percy had never heard before. He was familiar with the greek gods, being the son of Poseidon. The sun god and the moon god, Percy had never heard about. He also wished he had his two friends with him. If not aid in fighting, Annabeth and Grover could have assisted him with strategies. Still he was the son of Poseidon and had faced all different kinds of opponents. He was ready to fight anyone who were to face him and defend his father against all these people. especially against the host and his two gods.
Now however, Percy wanted to scout the Island. he would find where the water was and other important things. He might even find a clue on how to get off.
'This is no good.' Shikamaru sighted. 'It is a challenge. We win this and we will find out where they hold Kakashi.' Rock lee shouted out with all his enthousiasm. 'Relax.' Came Shikamaru again. 'Things will get complicated I am afraid.' He said. 'Why?' Tenten asked. 'Firstly.' Shikamaru began. 'The opponents will be tough. If the first fight was a gauge then were are in for trouble.' 'Okay.' Rock Lee nodded. 'Secondly, if we lose we do not only have a chance to get killed but opponents will be able to get our jutsu.' 'What do you mean Tenten asked. 'The winner get an ability of the loser. That will mean that if any of us gets beaten, the one who beats us will get our jutsu.' 'Then we do not lose.' Rock Lee spoke. 'We must have a plan for if we lose. We cannot allow our jutsu to fall in the hands of the enemy.' Came the answer. 'What plan?' The girl asked. Shikamaru watched her silently before he spoke. 'We have to kill each other.' 'What?' Both Rock Lee and Tenten yelled out. 'Here me out.' the shinobi grunted. he had these thoughts for a while now and knew that this would be hard to convey to the other two. 'If one of us gets killed and the other two will not be able to take the opponent out, he will get the jutsu. one opponent could possibly get the jutsu's of all three of us. That is dangerous. If one of us kills the other before he is taken down by the opponent, the one of us who kills will get the jutsu. This will mean that the jutsu stays safe with us and the other will get stronger and have a better chance of winning for all of us.' The leaf ninja looked at both teammates. The other two stared at him. He was the smartest and they knew that Shikamaru was right. However it was hard to accept. 'Now let us prepare.' Shikamaru said with a smile.
Suddenly a voice appeared out of nowhere and yelled out: 'Next fight will be the shinobi of the hidden leaf versus the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles. The fight will be held at the ruines of the old city' 'It seems that we are up first.' Rock lee said with a smile. 'Come and let us see who our opponent is.' he added.
After half an hour, the small group found the location of the ruins. It was clear that there have been beautiful buildings here once. 'So these will be opur opponents?' Lee aksed with a smile as he pointed towards four turtles. 'It seems like it.' Shikamaru answered. The four turtles all carried weapons. One had a bo staff, another had two sai, the third had two nunchucks and the last carried two swords. Next to the small group, Shikamaru spotted their host and around them, the ninja saw people appearing. They were there to see the strengths of the fighters. 'Fear not, I will beat them.' Rock Lee said as he jumped up and down. 'It seems this one is eager to fight. Then begin!' Eon said.
'Cowabunga!' The first one yelled as he ran towards Rocki Lee. The attack missed and the ninja kicked the turtle in the chest, followed by a punch to the face that brought the opponent down. Now a turtle with a red headband attacked. He wielded two sais. Rock lee stepped, grabbed both hands of the other fighter and kicked him on the ground. Now the third with a bo staff ettempted to trip Lee. He flipped backwards and then jumped forwards to kick the attacker in the face. The last of the turtles had two swords. Instead of using them, the warrior kicked. Rock Lee grabbed the foot of the ninja turtle and threw him away. 'I have done it. I have beaten them' Rock Lee said with pride. He knew that master Gai would be proud. 'Not yet.' Tenten spoke as two of the turtles stood up and ran towards Lee. The turtle with the red headband jumped to do a high kick while the one with the purple headband swung his staff low. Rock lee barely avoided them, only to be kicke in the chest by the turtle with the range headband. After he fell on the ground, the last of the turtles ran towards Rock Lee and held his two swords at the throat. 'Give up.' The turtle yelled. 'Never!' came the respons. Before Leonardo could attack the ninja, his body froze. 'Shadow controll Complete.' Shikamaru said with a smile. 'What is happening?' Leonaro asked, confused. 'You are now trapped by my shadow. I controll your every move.' Shikamaru explained. To show it, the ninja jumped backwards and the opponent followed at the same pace. This allowed Rock lee to stand up. 'Brothers help me!' The turtle yelled out and the others jumped into action.
Mickey ran towards the ninja controlling the shadow, only to jump away and avoid a kunai. The following kunai had a piece of paper at the end and as it passed him, the paper exploded. 'Hit!' Tenten yelled happily. She summoned a spear from a scroll and began to attack the fighter with the staff, who was about to hit Shikamaru. Rock lee was fighting Raphael and as he avoided an attack, jumped up and kicked the turtle away. 'Shadow strangel Jutsu.' Shikamaru said as a shadow made its way towards the turtle. Before Raphael could do anything, the shadow took controll and started strangeling him. 'leaf Hurricane.' Rock Lee shouted as he kicked the turtle named Mickelangelo in the air and brought him down. The first turtle was knocked out. 'I...I..Surrender.' Raphael said before his breathing stopped. Shikamaru stopped the jutsu and Raphael dropped to the ground.
With two turtles out, only two remained. Donatello was still dueling Tenten while Leonardo was releashed from the shadow controll. With Rock Lee in a fighting stance and Shikamaru holding a kunai, Leonardo knew he had a problem. Donatello yelled out and fell to the ground as a mace hit him in the head. 'I have lost.' Leonardo said as he looked at his brothers on the ground. He did not know who these ninja's were, they did not look like footclan but he knew they had lost. Just before he could drop his swords, a flail hit Leonardo and he fell to the ground. Both Shikamaru and Rock lee looked up surprised to see Tenten with a summoning scroll. 'Like Shikamaru said, I wanted the weapon.' She responded.
'Good fight.' Eon said as he walked towards the fighters. 'For this victory, you will get copies of the weapons from the fighters you have beaten.' The man said. First he handed Rock Lee a pair of nunchaku's. Then Eon gave Shikamaru a pair of sais. Finally Tenten recieved a Bo staff and two katana swords. 'Thank you.' She said overjoyed.
After the four turtles had been send away, Eon looked at all the other fighters. 'Tonight will be the third fight.' he said with a smile. Eon hoped that the third one would not be over this quick.
´That was am awesome fight.´ A surprised Starfire said as she hovered above ground. ´Those guys are indeed very strong.´ Came the comment of Cyborg. ´We can beat them though.´ Beastboy finished with a smile. ´it was a good idea to watch that match.´ Beastboy laughed. ´Now we know how to fight them if we ever get these guys as opponents.´ ´I just figure what Robin would have done.´ Cyborg explained. He had taken it upon himself to lead this small group now Robin was not with them. The other two had not complained and it seemed that Cyborg had made the right choises so far. 'We are with only three here, missing Robin and Raven. Cyborg started. The other two looked up surprised. 'That means that we will have to do some good training to compensate for the lack of them.' He continued. 'That makes sense.' Was the reply of Garfield. 'yes let us do that.' Starfire added.
Before they could do some training, someone jumped from a rock and landed next to them. 'It seems that you are pulled here as well.' Deathstroke said with a calm voice. 'Yes and?' Beastboy asked as he walked up to the man. 'It will be fun to kill you in this tournament and get your powers.' Came the calm reply of Deathstroke. 'We will see about that.' Cyborg came forwards. 'We will see yes.' Deathstroke said before he left.
Hellboy slowly walked into a small cave. he had no clue where he was or who everybody was. Big red only knew that he had to fight other creatures in some kind of big tournament to win and get home. he did not mind, he faced demons and monsters on a daily basis. This was going to be easy. 'I will take them all out and be home before dinner.' Hellboy spoke to himself as he lighted a sigar. He had just reached the headquarters of a small group of vampires when he had been transported here. Now it was time to take out the other fighters and getting back to killing vampires. Yes, Hellboy was going to like it here.
How fun was this little tournament going to be. Not that anyone would prove a challenge, they were up against jack of Blades after all. Especially now he had the sword of Eons, he would destroy every single opponent. It was just too bad that he had been send here before he could take out the hero. But well, when he was bored here, jack would find a way back. Wondering what he was about to do, Jack sat down inside a small house. It seemed that there was enough food here to last a few months and there was even a bed. As he sat dow at the table, Jack wondered about there two 'gods' The moon god and the sun god. He had never heard of them and they would not be important. Jack was a god himself after all. he would slay these two gods and take their place here on this Island. Then more people would bow to Jack of Blades.
Suddenly the voice of this host was heard. It was that this man had too many guards with him, otherwise Jack would have killed him already. No it was better to wait untill he had gathered more powers, the jack would slay this Eon. Eon getting killed by the sword of Eons, that was fun. However, the message that he heard said that Jack was going to fight next. His opponent was someone named garth and the battle would take place on a hill. Jack stood up slowly, to make his way to the battlefield.
Garth walked up the hill. His first fight would begin now and altough he disliked fighting, he had to do battle now. Garth was surprised about his opponent though. When he heard the host say that he was about to fight Jack of Blades, the will user could not believe his ears. He had read a lot about one of the most powerfull Heroes ever. the stories went that a powerfull hero tried everything to obtain the ultimate power and even destroyed the old guild. However he was beaten by a hero of ancient bloodline, more powerfull then jack of Blades. other stories said how Jack returned in the guise of a dragon but that seemed too farfetched for Garth. As matter of fact, he had never really believed that either this hero or Jack had ever lived. Now it seems that the stories were true and that Jack was very much alive.
When Garth reached the top, he saw a hooded man wearing a mask. This man looked exactly like the drawings of Jack that Garth had seen. Did this mean that this man could turn into a dragon as well? The fight might be very tough but Garth had one advantage. He knew the future. This Jack could be beaten and the most powerfull will user might be able to do just that.
As he walked near, Garth suddenly froze. The sword that Jack of Blades had... That was.. that looked like a sword Garth had seen in many drawings and old manuscripts. maybe the most powerfull sword ever made, this was the sword of Eons.
'This is my opponent?' jack asked mockingly. 'This is no real hero, this is a scholar.' Jack continued. 'You will be surprised on what I can do Jack of Blades. I mastered the powers of will and am ready to take you on.' Garth replied. 'You are from Albion as well. It will be fun to crush you.' was the comeback of Jack.
'Let us begin.' Eon yelled. Both warriors jumped into battle right away. Garth collected mana to create a fireball while jack drew his sword as he walked up to his opponent. At the moment Garth threw his large fireball, Jack used his own willpower and sped forwards. The fireball missed and Jack was now close to Garth, who summoned four swords around him and stepped backwards. Jack encountered the swords and his own flashed forwards. Having no eye for his opponent at the moment, Jack fought the swords at good as he could, when he suddenly got hit by lightning. Garth had stepped into a safe range and was now using lightning from his fingers that hurt the opponent. Trying to escape from it, Jack lifted his sword in the air. An big sphere of energy blocked the attack. Where are they? Jack wondered in himself. While in the sphere, he tried to summon minions but none appeared. It seemed this island was so far from Albion that the beasts could not appear.
Now Garth was creating a large ball of fire and Jack knew he had only one chance. He lifted the energy shield and flew up in the air just as the ball of fire soared towards him. Again the attack missed and Jack used the moment send a wave of white will energy from his sword that hit Garth in the chest. The scholar was send backwards. Now white balls of energy flew towards him but this time the hero of Will was able to dodge the attack. He countered by creating a large tornado that spun Jack around and send him towards the ground. 'This will be your downfall.' Garth spoke as he created his third ball of fire. However before he could reach his opponent or finish his big ball, Jack lifted his sword up in the air again. This time invisible energy attacked Garth as he suddenly lost energy and strenght. Garth fell down on the ground in pain. he saw himself as a master of Will but even Garth did not understand this kind of attack. This Jack of Blades was really powerfull. Jack used will to increase his speed and get to his opponent. Knowing he had little energy for any will attack, Garth drew the dagger he had always with him as the sword came towards him. He was no fighter but still tried to block the attack. This failed as the Sword of Eons cut his arm. The dagger flew on the ground and the sword stabbed Garth in the chest. 'Whaaaaaa.' Garth yelled as he fell on the ground. The hero of Will was dead. 'Pathetic' Jack said as he took his sword out of the lifeless body of his opponent. 'It was a quick fight.' Eon commented as he gave Jack the ability to summon and controll four swords. 'Hahaha ah well.' Jack laughed as he walked away. he one his first fight and was ready to take on the rest. As everybody left, Eon send Garth away to his secret lab. Another soldier for his cause.
This island was strange but luckely Sub Zero had found an part of it which was covered in snow and ice. This small tundra felt like home and was the first thing like it. He did not mind to fight untill death, the warrior had done that before. This time he could even aquire powers of the opponent. With these powers Sub zero would be able to take Scorpion out once and for all. He could even go and challenge the elder gods to become one supreme god. No sun or moongods, no Raiden and no elder gods. Sub Zero would become a god and the Lin Kuei would become his priests. This tournament would be easy and the outworld warrior could not wait for his first fight.
This was frustrating. Severus Snape was here already a day and he still had found no way to get home. Besides watching the other fights, the wizard had tried the whole day and half the night to get to hogwarts. There was a battle going on there and Snape was needed. Now he had given up on trying to return on his own, it seemed impossible, this magic too strong. Now Severus was walking around searching for plants. Knowing that getting away on himself would not be succesfull, Severus was now concentrating on winning his battles and get home stronger. Besides.. his dream come true... He really wanted to see Lily one more time. Spend one last day with her.
Altough the Slytherin knew some very usefull and powerfull spells and curses, the potion master also knew what help some of these potions would be in battle. A little Felix Felitis would swing a battle in his favour, baneberry would poison his target and baruffio would aid him in thinking out some good strategies. There were also enough other potions and poisons to use in battle. Altough he already had a small bottle of felix felitis, there were still other potions that had to be made so it was better to start early and be prepared.
Concentrating, Sabrina sat on the ground. her espeon stood next to her and was equally focuses. After a while Sabrina stood up, awoken from her meditation. 'I have seen who I will battle.' she spoke to her pokemon. The gymleader had first tried to return home with the help of her alakazam. This proved useless as she was unable to get off the island, even with the aid of her psychic pokemon. Being a fighter, Sabrina realised that she should focus on winning her battles and show the others what she could do. She then used her psychic powers to stare into the future and see who her first opponent was. Now she had seen the image of a man with pale skin and black hair. This man wore a black gown with the sign of a green snake fastened to it. Lastly he had a very large nose.
Now Sabrina knew who she was fighting, she could prepare for that and choose how to use her pokemon the best. 'let us go and find this man.' sabrina spoke to her Espeon, who nodded. Time to see the real man.
'I hope you will win herr Captain.' 'I hope so as well x-man.' The captain smiled as the two walked through the forest. he had been training a lot with the mutant and the hero had to admit that Nightcrawler was very strong. Xavier had taught his mutants well and the captain made a mental note to compliment the professor on it when he saw the old man again. However now it was time for his own first fight. His opponent would be someone called Deathstroke. Captain America did know a Deathpool and he hoped that this Deathstroke was nothing like the assasin. otherwise it could be a very tough fight. As agent of Shield and part of the Avengers, Steve Rogers had fought several superhumans and was ready for anything thrown against him. With his shield, the warrior would stop all opponents. He would win this fight and be able to return home.
The two arrived at the open spot, where Eon was already standing. From the opponent, there was no sign. Slowly people arrived but they all stood to the side. they all came to watch. 'Good luck Captain.' Kurt spoke as he moved to the side as well. 'Thank you.' Steve replied.
After waiting a quarter of an hour, Deathstroke finally showed up. The man walked up to Captain America and take a good look. 'This will be my opponent then. Will be fun.' The man said as he walked backwards. Captain had taken the time to observe his opponent as well and spotted several fire-arms and a melee weapons. This man was very much like Deathpool.
Deathstroke had spotted the Teen Titans already. ofcourse they were about to watch him fight. The same with all the others, they wanted to see the strenght of Deathstroke and his opponent. Speaking about his opponent, this captain America gave true to his name as he was dressed like the American flag. Not that it mattered. The man would be killed. First Slade would see how strong this man was and how good his shield would held up, then it would be time to crush him. This was going to be entertaining. He would show all these people that he was the strongest and would beat them. Then he would become even more powerfull. Watch and see how i destroy this man, deathstroke thought as he looked at all the spectators.
'Fighters ready?' Eon asked and both warriors nodded. As soon as the host yelled: 'Fight.' Deathstroke started moving. He threw a flashbomb and when it went off, he took his M16 and started firing rounds.
The captain was initially surprised by the use of the flashbomb but his instincts overruled everything else and he backed off as he kept shield shield before him to cover the most important parts of his body.
Seconds later, he heard the sounds of an automatic weapon and felt the impact of bullets on his shield. As the senses returned to him, Cap waited untill his opponent loaded and threw his shield. The shield of the captain hit Deathstroke in the chest, which forced the mercenary down on the ground. He also lost the weapon during the fall. Now captain was running towards his opponent. having caught the shield again, he raced to take the man down, just as Deathstroke stood up.
Deathstroke blocked a shield attack from the captain with his arm and went to kick the leg of his opponent, that got dodged. he grabbed his energy lance and made a sweeping move to trip his opponent but captain america jumped back. A thrust that followed got blocked by the shield. Now captain moved again and tried to hit Deathstroke with the rim. The lance got in the way and cap followed up with an uppercut that forced the merc backwards. Another punch got blocked by the energy lance and deathstroke moved swiftly to deliver a punch with the weapon to the side of the head of his opponent.
Another punch got blocked by the shield and Deathstroke dropped his weapon to grapple his opponent to the ground. Both were now wrestling each other, which ended with a blow to the head of Deathstroke by the shield of cap.
Deathstroke moved backwards as he grabbed two pistols. He fired both of them at the same time but all the bullets hit the shield. This man would be easier to kill of that shield was out of the way, Deathstroke though. The captain threw his shield again but this time, Deathstroke was prepared. He dodged the shield and ran towards his opponent while shooting. Cap flew behind trees and the bullets that hit, got stopped by the armour. When he was out bullets, instead of reloading, Deathstroke took his sword and slashed at the captain. The slash did little against the armour and captain punched Deathstroke in the face. He then catched his shield again and took his tasergun. He fired the weapon while Deathstroke ran at the captain. The tasergun had no effect against the armour of the mercenary and sword met shield. The two battled on for some minutes without much effect.
Neither fighter had sustained much damage but both were felt a bit tired. Altough they were superhuman, the fight had been exhousting already. Then Deathstroke had an idea. He had seen how his opponent had thrown the shield while being at range and that could be exploited. He stepped backwards, put the sword back in the sheath and grabbed one of his mini uzi's. He fired it and as expected, the captain blocked the bullets using his shield. He then threw the shield. Everything went exactly like Deathstroke had planned. He dodged the shield skillfully, revealing the tree behind him. With a thud, the shield got stuck in the tree and that was the moment that deathstroke took out his other uzi and fired it at Captain America. The captain ran from the hail of bullets and went behind trees. His leg got hit and the Captain fell down. Before the captain could get up, Deathstroke threw a grenade. It exploded near Cap, who was thrown backwards against a tree. Altough his armour protected against most of the blast, it did destroy it. 'Now I am going to take you down with your own shield.' Deathstroke said as he pulled the shield out of the tree. 'Nein.' Someone yelled at the side but te mercenary ignored it. This was a tough opponent but not tough enough. 'Come at me.' Cap replied as he slowly stood up. Deathstroke tried to hit the captain with the rim of the shield but the marvel hero ducked down and to the side. While his fist met the face of his opponent, his knee planted itself in the stomach of Deathstroke. he then grabbed the shield and rammed it at the opponent. Deathstroke stepped backwards, still laughing. 'Now i have my shield back and will take you out.' The captain spoke. 'No you will not.' Came the reply as Deathstroke took a trigger. Surprised Captain America looked at his opponent and then slowly to his shield. in the inside of his shield was some sort of bomb and shock hit the captain. The opponent must have done that when he was walking towards cap with the shield. Before the captain could drop it, the bomb exploded and send Captain America backwards against a tree. A sword in the neck finished the fight. Deathstroke had won, as he had expected.
'Nein.' someone yelled again and a blue creature ran towards the captain. Not paying attention to it, Deathstroke looked at Eon. 'Wonderfully done. My compliments.' The man said. 'yes, what do I get?' He asked bluntly. 'Aaahh straight to the point, I like that.' Eon said. 'You will get an exact copy of the shield that Captain America uses.' The man replied before handing over a shield. 'Good.' deathstroke said and as he was about to walk away, the blue creature walked towards him. 'You murdered the captain. I will kill you.' The young man spoke. Deathstroke looked at this Nightcrawler and laughed. 'You try that and I will just aquire your teleportation.' Before walking away.
When Nightcrawler turned around, he saw how captain America dissapeared. 'He is home now.' Eon said. Nightcrawler nodded before walking away. he could not believe that the famous captain America was beaten. Now Nightcrawler was alone now, in this strange world with all these opponents. It only made him realise how strong his opponents were and how hard the x-man had to train to have chance of winning this strange tournament.
'Wow. What a fight.' Beastboy said, still impressed. 'Yes. we know that Deathstroke is strong, but know we know he has an extra weapon. an weapon that can probably block my cannon.' Cyborg said. The three had been watching the fight and paid special attention to the abilities of Deathstroke. Not that they did not knew his powers, the three hoped to create a solid strategie to fight this opponent and now more then ever, they wished that Robin was with them. The small group also realised that they still had their own first fight to worry about. 'Our teamwork must be perfect' Cyborg said, stating the obvlious. 'We just hit him with our strongesst attacks.' Starfire said happily. She was the most convinced of all that they would win this tournament. 'Hmm' Cyborg grunted. He was not as convinced as his teammate that this would work. 'Use your strength. 'remember, we are facing some strong opponents here. This will not going to be easy.'
Kit walked over the sand as he thought about everything what happened. In the jedi order, he had learned to control his inner peace in dangerous situations. this tournament did count as one and the jedi knight knew how to keep peace with himself. He had been on this island for two days now and altough he had not have to fight yet, he had made a friend. A young boy called Percy who claimed to be the son of a god had similair powers as he had. The two had met in the water of the ocean, both swimming around to relax. At first Kit had been a bit hesistant but slowly he went to like this young boy full of enthousiame and as the two started to talk more and more, the two grew closer. After that, they went to start training with each other, in the water and on the beach. Percy was stronger in water while Kit had the upper hand on the beach. These training sessions were good to hone his own skills but the jedi could also inventarise the skills of this opponent, should they face each other in battle. Because it was training, he had set his lightsaber in a non kill setting and he had not told the young man what the weapon really was capable off. He was a jedi after all and the first thing they learned is that you should disattach yourself from others if it needed. He was friendly with the boy but would kill him if he had to.
Sub Zero made himself ready for his first battle. It had just been announced that he was to fight a man named Nightmare. Sub zero had never heard of this man but he would win this fight. He was after all a mortal kombat fighter and the leader of the a ninja clan. As he arrived at the grass near the arena, Sub-Zero saw that the host had already arrived. Minutes later, his opponent appeared. This fighter wore armour, had a large hand and a very large sword. This could be interesting.
'With the two fighters arrived. There is little else to say then fight!' Eon shouted. Both of these men were fighters, used to these tournament style fights to the death. Both relying mostly on blades and hand to hand combat, this fight would be an interesting one.
At the start signal, both warriors pulled their swords and ran towards each other. The blades met in mid-air and after a couple of slashes, Nightmare gave a powerful attack which broke the sword made of ice in two. 'You think you can beat soul edge?' Nightmare taunted as he came with another slash. Sub-Zero moved backwards, leaving an ice clone in its stead. As soon as Nightmare touched the ice with his sword, he got frozen. Using this moment, Sub-zero slammed his fist in the face of his opponent, who staggered back. Following his attack, Sub zero used an ice beam to freeze his opponent again and then kicked the man in the chest. The ice around Nightmare broke with the kick and he tried to slash his opponent, who managed to get away. Sub-Zero then moved in to punch nightmare in the face. He took the hit and then grabbed his opponent with his large hand. Nightmare then threw Sub Zero on the ground and walked towards his opponent. As Sub-Zero got up, Nightmare moved his sword in an arc, leaving a trail of fire that hit Sub-Zero. 'You will be consumed by soul edge worthless Human.' Nightmare spoke with a dark voice. Sub-Zero knew he was in trouble. The ice attacks had little effect and if he created another sword it would be broken. Close range was also not an option because of the the sword and the large hand. This opponent was very strong but it seemed he had one flaw. This Nightmare was a ruthless attacker but seemed to lack discipline as a warrior. That was something that the grand master of the Lin Kuei could use in his advantage. First he attacked. He first charged at Nightmare with his shoulder. He then attacked with a punch in the stomach, where he hit the liver of his opponent with his ice and then headbutted Nightmare. Just as Nightmare was recovering from the attack, Sub Zero did a backflip to get away.
The attacks did not do much damage but it did irritate Nightmare. 'You mortal.' Nightmare yelled. he charged at Sub-Zero, who went to freeze the ground underneath the other warrior. As the fighter charged, he suddenly had ice underneath his feet and tried to keep his balance. This gave Sub-zero the chance to create two daggers of ice and attack the face of his opponent. The aim was the eyes but the helmet of Nightmare crushed the ice before the daggers could reach the eyes. Some of the ice of the daggers did get in the eyes of the warrior, which only enraged him more. Nightmare recovered from the ice and grabbed Sub-zero. He held the throat of the icy warrior and then threw the fighter on the ground. Following that, Nightmare thrusted his sword downwards to impale Sub-Zero. The latter rolled away, losing something in the process. Nightmare attacked Sub-Zero, hitting him across the chest. As the mortal kombat fighter fell, Nightmare grabbed something from the ground that his opponent had dropped earlier. It was some sort of medaillion with a dragon on it. As he held it, Nightmare felt himself become stronger with the second. 'I have the source of your power now.' He said. Sub zero did not speak. Everything went according to plan
Suddenly, Nightmare yelled out. black energy formed itself around his body, greater and stronger then he ever had imagined. 'I have the power.' He yelled with a smile. But that smile suddenly turned into surprise. The energy was too much, it was actually consuming Nightmare. Soul edge was now actively trying to consume Nightmare himself in the sword. The warrior dropped the weapon but he could not help being destroyed by the energy. When the man finally managed to drop the medallion, he was weakend by all the power. Now it was easy for Sub-Zero to freeze the lower half of his opponent. A good kick shattered the ice and the lower half of Nightmare. Sub-Zero watched as the man bled to death, To finish it off, the Lin Kuei kicked his opponent in the face.
'You have destroyed your opponent wonderfully.' Eon said as he walked to Sub-Zero. It was clear that Nightmare had been the stronger but Sub-Zero had won his fight though guile. 'Now you get a copy of soul edge.' The host spoke with a smile. As he handed Sub-Zero the sword, he said: 'Beware. This is a copy but it holds the same power and danger as the real soul edge.' Sub-Zero nodded and first picked up the dragon medaillion. He then proceeded to take the sword of his opponent.
Everything was going according to plan. Eon was happy with himself. The man watched the moon appear above this island. 'yes my god, welcome.' He spoke. 'i have for you an entertaining fight.' One of the practical things of having the combatants of the previous tournament as slaves was that there were ninja's around who could spy on the warriors in this tournament. Not only could he keep an eye on them, but Eon was also able to notice the relationships build by these warriors. 'Yes moongod, i found out that the fighters for this next battle have become friends with each other. That will be a rather entertaining fight for you I hope.' With Percy Jackson and Kid Fisto becoming close to each other, the fight would be most entertaining. this would probably not be a fight to the death, but Eon did not mind. His slaves would kill the loser off anyhow. The personal struggles, that was fun to watch. Yes, the host hoped that the god would like this fight.
after this fight, there would be two fights tomorrow and the third fight would be the first one of the next round. Eon was rather curious on who would make it, with every round becoming harder. it was also fun to see how all the fighters coped with it.
Most of the fighters were training themselfs. realising how strong all the opponents were due to their own fight or the fights they have seen, they were all busy training themselfs or getting used to new weapons or abilities that they had aquired. A few of them were resting or exploring the terrain a bit more. Those must be confident in themselfs, Eon chuckled. There were two fighters who actually did more preperation then only training. These were Sabrina and Snape. Eon had decided to put these two against each other and have their fight being dead last. That way, they could prepare against each other to their best and would the fight be the greatest one of the first round. Sabrina spent her time trying to look into the future, with the help of her pokemon. From what Eon understood, she was trying to see the battle that was going to happen so she knew what powers her opponent had. The wizard was doing something else. instead of trying to know what powers his opponent would have, the man was creating potions he could use in this battle and in other battles. It also seemed that he was choosing what spells and curses to use during the battle. Curious Eon wondered if he was going to use the unforgivable curses.
Eon gave one last glance at the moon and then send himself into the lab. There he encountered the three golems who stood guard and two of his slaves. 'Soon the third one will join you.' Eon said to the two warriors in the big tube. Captain America and Nightmare. Their body's were recovering from the damage they had sustained while their minds were tweaked to become the perfect slaves. Yes everything was going according to plan and soon, Eon would have a small army full of the strongest warriors. Now he thought about it, the time had come to announce the next fight.
'The next fight will be between Percy Jackson and Kit Fisto.' The voice of the host still echoód through the heads of both fighters. Now they were standing om opposite side of each other waiting for the call to begin the battle. As soon as both warriors had heard the announcement, they had looked at each other with a clear gaze. They had been training together at the moment they had heard it. Now these two fighters were going to fight each other. Percy had asked if it was okay to fight untill untill a knock out or surrender. It seemed he did not want to fight untill death. Altough Kit agreed, he had no problems with killing the other fighter. His jedi training had taught the fighter not to let his emotions run wild.
When the host arrived, it was time for the battle. 'Fight!' Eon yelled out.
Percy started off by getting water from the sea towards him and after soaking himself in it, he send it towards his opponent. The jedi moved through the water with ease and aimed an attack with his lightsaber towards his opponent. Percy had the power of a god now and moved with great speed to avoid the attack. Having missed the attack, Kid used the force to push Percy backwards.
Kit moved again while Percy got up and activated his wristwatch shield. The lightsaber glanced past the son of Poseidon and cut through the shield. Percy moved to the side and took out his ballpoint pen. Before Kid was attacking again, Percy had turned the pen into his sword riptide. Because of the training sessions Percy knew that the sword would block the lightsaber attack however Percy feared thatb the sword itself did not work on his opponent. he was not sure if this nautillian creature would be considered human.
The swords clashed with each other at high speed until the jedi used the force to pull riptide out of the hand of Percy and swung it away in the sand. The boy dodged another attack and summoned water from the shells on the beach. He send the water towards the lower body of his opponent and when it reached the fighter, he hardened the water. 'Surrender or I will cover you completely.' percy said. 'No.' Came the reply and Percy saw how the lightsaber cut through the solid water. knowing he needed a way to escape, Percy used his wind and water control to create a large storm to distract his opponent. kid hurried through the storm and was just able to see how the half god jumped into the sea and then followed.
What happened next was not interesting to see for the spectators, for the only real action that he could see was the moving of waves and the occacional waves clashing with each other.
Within the water, the two warriors were fighting it out with all their skilll. Kit Fisto was using his lightsaber while Percy was fighting with a trident he had made from water. In the liquid, neither warrior had the advantage. Both were fast and both could manipulate the water surrounding them. The force was no use here anymore and Kit had to rely on his swordskills. The two fought for some time, where they both dodged the attacks of the other, without much result. Suddenly Kit send an orb of water that send his opponent backwards. Percy came back with his trident, using it one-handed to stab his opponent. In the other hand he had a small object. Kit dodged the trident and went to attack himself. Too late he saw the pen that turned into a sword in the other hand of his opponent. At first surprised, the jedi then remembered what Percy had told him before. This weapon would always return to the pocket of the owner when lost. The small sword of the young man cut off the arm of Kit and send a wave of water with the jedi crashing in the sand.
Percy followed soon and send water to push his opponent down. He then hurried towards the jedi and put his sword to the throat. 'Surrender.' Percy spoke. He did not want to kill his new friend but knew what he had to do if given no other choice. After a couple of minutes in silence, the fighter finally gave in. 'I surrender.' Kit spoke.
Now it was Eon who could act again. This had been a great fight and altough for the most fighters here boring since they could not see it good, it had been perfect for the moongod. These two warriors who used water in the water was really great and now the boy Percy Jackson had won. Eon made a exact copy of the lightsaber that the jedi master had used and gave it to the boy. 'Thank you.' The boy nodded. The boy then walked up to his opponent and both of them shook hands. After that, Eon send Kit Fisto away. His slaves would kill the Nautilian.
Nightcrawler was training in these early hours of the morning. He had been doing nothing else these past two days to make himself ready. The mutant would avenge the death of Captain America by beating this deathstroke and he would win this tournament. Then the young german warrior would be able to finally go home and see his friends again. He missed the professor, Storm, Cyclops and even that grumpy Wolverine. But before he could win this tournament, there was still more then enough training to do. Having one of his swords in one hand, the shield in the other and the last sword grabbed by his tail, Nightcrawler teleported towards a tree and attacked. He then teleported towards another tree and attacked again. He did this several times and by the last time, the mutant planted both swords deep into the tree. Nightcrawler would give his all this tournament.
Hellboy was bored. The man had been on the island for a few days now and still he had not been able to fight. however with only three opponents remaining in this round, there were three possibilities for fights and each of them looked boring. Both the man and woman that were left looked like they could be knocked out with one punch and these three children. This way it was no fun, Big Red thought as he lit another sigar. There were some strong fighters in this tournament but they all had fought already. Especially the strongest, the guy in the armour with the big arm and the big sword looked like he could throw a punch. he was send home already tough, having lost to the ice guy. Now the ice guy was the man to beat and Hellboy hoped he would face this warrior in the second round. Now it was time to take a nap and wait for his battle to begin.
'Now!' Shikamaru yelled. Rock Lee ran towards the big rock, jumped up and kicked it in half. He then smashed it with his fist and kicked two pieces in the air. As the two rocks flew high in the air, both Shikamaru and Tenten threw knife shuriken, which crushed the pieces. Rock Lee now came running towards Tenten, who opened a scroll and send more knife shuriken at the leaf ninja. Rock Lee used his Leaf kick wirlwind to kick all the objects away and proceeded to attack the girl. The attack missed as Shikamaru took control of Tenten with his shadow control and made her jump away. Shikamaru released the jutsu and both of them kicked their fellow teammate. Rock Lee blocked both of the attacks and countered them. Both of the ninja's hit the ground and as Rock Lee tried to attack again, he found that he was unable to move. 'Shadow control complete.' Shikamaru said with a smile. During their last encounter, the nara clan member had connected their shadows. Tenten summoned the two swords that they had aquired from the turtle and placed them at the neck of Rock Lee. 'Good job.' Shikamaru said as he released the jutsu. 'lets take a break.' He then continued. The three sat down on the grass. 'Tomorrow we will fight again.' Shikamaru said with a smile. After two days of constant training and watching others fight, they were ready for their next battle. 'How do you know we will fight tomorrow?' Tenten asked. 'There are three fights a day and today there are two fights of the first round.' The young ninja started to explain. There are four fights in the second round and the first fight will be the last of today. That means that the last three fights are tomorrow.' He explained. 'But how do you know that we don't have to fight today?' Rock Lee asked. 'We were among the first to fight in the last round so its rather unlikely that we are first to fight again.' Came the answer. 'Okay.' The other two nodded in agreement.
As they sat down, Tenten spoke. 'Guys, is it wrong to miss the village?' It was an open yet strange question. As ninja's, they were used to be away from the village for periods of time but now it was a different story. They were on a unknown world where the three shinobi were forced to fight for their lives and none knew if they would ever see the the hidden leaf village again. 'I miss the village too.' Rock Lee spoke out. 'I miss master Gay and Neji as well.' He continued. 'But I know why we are here. We must win so we can find Kakashi sensei and return him to Naruto and the rest.' Every time Rock Lee spoke, it was with energy. 'Hm I miss my team as well.' Shikamaru finally spoke as he thought about his own two teammates. And I miss Temari, Shikamaru did not speak that out loud. Few people knew about him and the shinobi of the sand village. Pushing these thoughts aside, the leader of the small group stood up. 'Lets go.' He spoke. 'Let us see if we can find a trace of Kakashi.'
The three members of the Teen Titans were training as well. each knew that they had to fight today and they were prepared for it. 'Finally action today.' Beastboy spoke out as he turned into a snake. 'Yes after waiting these long days now its our turn to show what we got.' Starfire added as she send a bolt of energy towards a tree, which destroyed it. 'We must keep our heads together and don't get to enthousiastic!' Cyborg yelled. It irritated him that his two teammates were so relaxed while the competition was hard. It was obvlious that the rogues that they usually faced were nothing like the opponents here. He had also a lot of respect for Robin. The boy wonder always managed to succeed in leading the Teen Titans and had to deal with this sort of thing on a daily basis. When they would return home, Cyborg would gladly give the leadership back.
As they were training, a voice suddenly was heard. 'The next fight is between the Teen Titans and Hellboy. This fight will be held in the ancient city.' 'It is time.' Cyborg yelled to his team. The other two nodded and the three started on their journey towards the battlefield.
When they arrived there, the big red demon was already waiting. 'That took long.' The man complained as he leaned to a wall that was only half standing up. The three Teen Titans continued towards the opponent who was smoking a cigar and smiled. 'You guys can surrender now or I will take you out and lose anyway.' The man smiled. 'Not going to happen.' Beastboy yelled
The fight began and Cyborg yelled: 'Titans Go!' Hen started off himself by using his cannon to shoot the big red warrior. The attack hit and Hellboy was forced backwards. He then took the good Samaritan and fired off a few rounds which hit Cyborg in the chest. He fell down and Starfire flew towards him. Hellboy moved to shoot her as well but his gun jammed. She took this moment to shoot Hellboy with his energy blast. Big Red was forced backwards and got grabbed by a large green gorilla. The gorilla lifted him up in the air and smashed the warrior on the ground. 'Is that all? ' Hellboy asked as he rubbed his head. Beastboy came with a punch but before it could hit, Hellboy used his own oversized right arm to slam his opponent to the ground. Beastboy then turned into a lion and jumped at Hellboy. Big Red grabbed the incoming tiger and swung him around. At that moment both Starfire and Cyborg fired off their attacks. Both of them slammed into Big red, who fell on the ground. 'Now it is serious.' He spoke as he ran towards cyborg. Before the Titan could react, Hellboy slammed the warrior into the rubble of an old house. Following that, Starfire lifted Hellboy up in the air. His tail wrapped itself around the girl and by shifting his weight Hellboy ended on top of the girl. Two punches forces her to let go and Hellboy jumped off the girl to slam his fist from great height into a green T-rex. 'Guys Attack from different sides.' Cyborg yelled. Before he could do anything, Hellboy fired off an exploding round that hit Cyborg in the chest and knocked him out. At that moment an eagle attacked the face off the demon but before he could attack, it dissapeared. From out of no-where, Starfire came flying up towards Hellboy and punched him away. The man crashed into a wall that was still standing and stones flew everywhere. Starfire flew towards Hellboy, while he ran at her. Big Red was the first to throw a punch and smashed the girl at the little green guy. Running at them Hellboy followed up with a punch that knocked the air out of Starfire. He then threw Beastboy into the rubble and took his pistol. 'Now surrender or I blow your heads off.' Big Red spoke as he lit yet another cigar. With Cyborg out of the battle and both of them rather beaten up, the two teen titans knew that there was little other choice if they wanted to stay alive. 'We give up.' The girl said with a sad voice.
Now Hellboy had won, Eon walked up to him. You have won against three opponents and that means that you will get three abilities.' Big Red nodded. Getting more powers was nice. 'From Cyborg you get the blast, which you can fire from your right hand.' Eon started. 'From Starfire the ability to fly and you can turn into any animal for a couple of minutes.' 'Okay.' Hellboy nodded. Now it was time for some rest. He hoped that the other opponents would be more of a challenge.
Percy was moving around swiftly and slashing his new weapon in the air. This almost looked like a weapon made by Hephaestus himself. It was light, swift and powerful. Percy also had noticed that it could cut through almost anything. Trees and rocks stood no chance against this weapon. He was also rather curious how it came that this sword was not cut in half by this lightsaber. It could that this weapon was unable to cut steel, the magical abilities of his sword or because Kit Fisto had been gentle. Either way, Percy would find out during his next fight. Now he was learning how to use this new weapon perfectly. The boy hoped he would win this and show everybody what the son of Poseidon could do. He also would not mind going back to camp half-blood. He missed his friends. But first Percy Jackson had to win this tournament and he would succeed in doing so, especially with this new weapon.
Sub-Zero stood in the ice chamber that he had created. The mortal kombat warrior had returned to the frozen ground after his fight. There the Link Kuei warrior had used his time training against ice statues and meditating. He also had tried to get used to his new sword but as soon as Sub-Zero used it, he noticed that the evil energy surrounding the sword. Its need for souls and energy. Knowing this was a dangerous power, he froze the sword in ice. Sub-Zero would only this weapon if he could not win his fight another way and even then he would keep soul edge frozen. As with his medallion, it would take a long time to master a weapon such as this. Sub-Zero was ready for doing so but not in a combat situation. He first wanted to know more about the weapon and the power it contained.
The final battle of the first round was about to begin. Both Sabrina and Severus Snape were ready to start their battle, it was only waiting for Eon to give the signal. Both warriors had prepared themselfs for this fight and each knew that they had prepared as good as they could.
'You can surrender now.' Sabrina said. 'I have seen the future and you will lose this battle.' She said with a calm and emotionless voice. 'There is no point fighting anymore.''The gymleader added. She had peered into the future to study her opponent and to see herself win. She knew that he would use spells that he would send out from his wand. First Sabrina would use Mr. Mime to defend her. Then she would send in both Alakazam and Espeon for the attack. that would not be enough so she would send out venomoth to bring this wizard to sleep. Then she would use her own psychic ability and turn this man into a doll. From the host, Sabrina would get a wand to channel her psychic abilities and some spells to aid her in her next battle. Not that see needed them, she had her pokemon and her visions.
'Haha.' Severus Snape sneered. As teacher in potions and defense against the dark arts, he had learned that divination what not an art but a scam. 'You think I fall for this?' He asked with a dark voice. If this woman wanted to rely on watching the future, than she would be the one to be mistaken. All those fortune tellers were charlatans. only once, had Snape noticed a real clairvoyant in action and the woman had only done it that once. The rest of the time, this woman had been an old drunk hag.
'I will show you some real magic.' The man said. He had prepared for this battle. Several had a great amount of spells and curses he could use during this battle. During the days trapped here, he had worked a lot. He had quickly created a couldron and in it, he had made some good potions and poisons. Most of them were not done and required more time to either create or cool down but with this victory, he would be a step closer. Two poisons were done however. Both quick working, one would give the victim a very slow and painfull death when the body got touched by it while the other was a quick working killer once consumed. Thinking about potions, Severus took a small bottle and allowed a single drup to fall in his mouth. It was a small bottle and making more would be very hard. Still felix felitis was one of the best weapons he had here. This potion would bring Severus luck during the battle. He did not doubt his own skill but still wanted to be sure of a victory. He was needed at Hogwarts to betray one master once and for all.
'You are the last ones to fight in this round and that means that you have had enough time to prepare.' Eon began as he looked at both of them. He liked to do this act of a great host. This act hid the man he really was and the plans he had for all these fighters. After this battle, round two could begin and he would get stronger slaves. Stronger soldiers for his cause. Soon everybody in all the different worlds would bow before the sun and moon gods and he would be their leader. 'Now one of you will go onwards to the second round and have a chance to win this tournament. Make it a great fight. Now begin.' As he said the last words, Eon stepped away from Severus Snape and Sabrina. The fight was on.
Sabrina quickly threw a pokeball to the ground, from which Mr. Mime appeared. 'Protect.' Sabrina yelled as a red beam flew towards her. The first move of Snape was a stunning spell. The spell hit the shield and bounced back. As Severus avoided his own spell, Sabrina threw two other pokeballs. Everything was going as she had seen. This battle would be over soon.
Both Alakazam and Espeon appeared. 'Sectumspemria.' Snape yelled. 'Protect.' Sabrina countered. The alakazam used protect while Espeon moved as well. 'Psychic.' The gymleader yelled and her Espeon now took controll of the body of Snape and forced him in the air. Using his wand, Severus freed himself from the attack and send a red beam towards his opponent. The beam hit the Espeon, which knocked the pokemon out instantly. 'Go Venomoth.' Sabrina yelled. To her Alakazam, she gave the command of psybeam. 'Protego.' Snape yelled out and a shield formed in front of him that blocked the attack of the psychic type. 'Sleep powder.' Sabrina commanded the bug pokemon. The bug type flew towards the opponent but before it could reach him, Snape had fired a spell towards the pokemon. 'Imperio.' It was one of the three unforgivable curses. It would not be the last time he would use a unforgivable curse during this battle. The venomoth turned around and now used the sleep powder on alakazam, sending it into a deep sleep. 'Get back you two.' Sabrina yelled. She had not expected this turn of events. 'Go hyno.' She then yelled, hoping to hypnotise this opponent. Snape laughed. He knew what these balls would do and with the flick of his wand, the ball flew towards him. He sealed it and threw it away. 'Psybeam.' A colourfull beam hit Snape and forced him on the ground. Sabrina used this moment to send out her haunter and as Snape rose, thought about the situation. He had to deal with two of these monsters. one of them could create shields and attack while the other was a ghost. usually ghosts could not really hurt a human but if this one could, then there was a problem. However, Snape had a plan. Before either pokemon could attack, Snape send smoke out of his wand. 'Shadow ball and psybeam.' Sabrina yelled. Neither attack hit and as the woman used her third eye, she noticed that her opponent was gone. Scanning the area, Sabrina found that the man had teleported behind her. She turned around to see the laughing face of this man and a red beam flying towards her. 'Avada Kedavra.' Sabrina fell on the ground, dead. Her two pokemon looked confused.
Now it was time for Eon to show up again. 'Great fight and good victory.' he said with a smile. 'You showed her that the future that one sees never is the one true future.' Eon laughed about himself before continueing on. Now seeing that you took controll of her venomoth alreay, you will get to use this pokemon.' As Eon handed the pokeball. 'You will also get the knowlegde about this pokemon and its attacks.' Snape nodded. This pokemon seemed to use powders that he could mix in his potions to make them stronger. Yes, this was a usefull one. As he teleported away, Eon send Sabrina away as well.
When the host was done. He announced something to all the fighters. 'Everybody congratulations on getting through to the second round. You now are stronger then before and will face stronger opponents. Make it a worthy tournament.' Each of these fighters had deserved their spots in this round and Eon could not wait to see how it all played out. 'I want everybody in the arena at nightfall for the start of the second round. Two warriors will fight there again.' He then walked away. it was time for some rest.
'Welcome again.' Eon laughed as he looked at all the survivors. There were ten in total, three of which counted as one, meaning that there would be eight fighters and four battles in this round. This evening would be the first battle and the other three would be held tomorrow. Eon scanned all the fighters to decide which would be first to battle. Deathstroke was a good and strong warrior. He had beaten Captain America after a hard fight and with this new shield he would prove a deadly force.
Sub-Zero was another option. His ninja training, combined with ice powers and a new strong sword was also a good contenter. Nightcrawler was the very first warrior who had won his victory but he would not survive this round. His victory had been more luck then strenght and the shield that Nightcrawler had won would not do him much good.
Snape was another one who could win this. He was a strong warrior who used both magic and potions. His win against Sabrina was incredible. But he had just fought so Eon allowed him some slack. His fight would be tomorrow. Hellboy would be an interesting match against Snape. Eon wondered if the magic could penetrate the skin of this red demon. The three leaf ninja were wild cards. They were the only surviving group here and had some power behind them. However they were still children and nothing compared to the ninja who had been fighting the last tournament. They needed the three of them to fight only one opponent and even then it would be a hard fight. Eon would set tough opponent against them. This would either take care of them or make these three leaf shinobi stronger.
Percy Jackson was also only a child but he was the son of a god. Well a lesser god then the sun and moon gods ofcourse.. But still a god nonetheless. He had great potential and could become potent threat for the other fighters. The last one was the most unpredictable. Eon had made sure that this warrior was always followed by a slave ninja. Not only did this man consider himself a god, this was one who might decide to attack Eon. Eon was not afraid of Jack but it would be a bad example for the other warriors. They might get ideas. Still if Jack of Blades did attack, he would be put down quickly. This actually gave Eon an idea.
'You have won your first matches and now you are here for the second round and a new set of matches.'
'Just announce the next match.' Jack of Blades said with an arrogant voice. 'Since you are so eager, You will fight first.' Came the reply of Eon. 'Your opponent will be Sub-Zero.' Eon stepped away and allowed the two fighters on the sand.
'Another weak human.' Jack laughed as he stepped on the sand. He would teach this warrior what a god could do. 'Prepare to die mortal.' Jack of Blades laughed as he drew his sword. 'I am not a mortal.' Sub-Zero said as he stepped onto the sand. 'I am the leader of the Lin Kuei and born in outworld. I will show you what a real warrior and assasin can do. 'Then go and fight.' Eon announced. Both guys drew their swords and looked at each other. Jack then used force rush to speed towards his opponent. The sword of Eons clashed with the ice sword and the battle was one. Both warriors attacked and defended without getting through. High attacks were followed by low attacks and stabs. Suddenly Sub-Zero stepped backwards and created an ice clone in the process. As soon as the sword of Jack hit the clone, it froze the man. Sub-Zero took this chance to slash at his frozen opponent. As Jack was hit, it thaw him out and he was just able to block another attack aimed for his head. He then summoned his ghost swords and as they approaced the mortal kombat fighter, Sub-Zero took a stance and shook his body, freezing the swords all at the same time. They fell out of the air and hit the sand. Jack used this to attack and manged to hit the armour of Sub-Zero. He came again and Sub- Zero froze the ground where Jack stood. While Jack was trying to stand, Sub-Zero attacked with a cold shoulder attack and knocked his opponent on the ground. Jack tried to stand up, only to get hit with an iceball that froze him. Sub-Zero put his sword in the sand and walked to his opponent. A punch to the face releashed Jack from his prison and what followed was a barrage of attacks that pushed the man from the void away. Jack got knocked around and only got some space to breath after he was thrown. He took his sword and flew into the air before another ball of ice could hit the man. 'Now I will return the favor.' Jack said with a smile as he waved his sword and a wave of white energy hit Sub Zero. Jack attacked with another wave and Sub-Zero froze himself. The wave hit the ice, which broke and releashed the Lin kuei, but the warrior himself was not hurt. Sub-Zero send a ball of ice towards his opponent, which missed target. Jack lifted his sword in the air and a rattling sound suddenly came from the sword. Sub-Zero felt his energy draining and created a wall of ice to protect himself. This worked. Jack shot balls of white energy all around the battlefield. Two of them hit the wall of ice, which shattered. Sub- Zero then send a beam of ice, which froze Jack while in the air. Following up, Sub-Zero created a nugget of ice above Jack, which fell on the man as soon as he was freed from the ice. This brought Jack crashing on the sand. Sub-Zero had grabbed his ice sword again and was now gliding towards his fallen opponent. Jack stood up as Sub-Zero thrusted his sword into his opponent and left the sword in the stomach of Jack. The Lin Kuei smashed his fists in the face of his opponent and delivered a roundhouse kick. The uppercut that followed send Jack sprawling backwards. Now Sub-Zero grabbed the throat of the other warrior and slowly froze the head of Jack. The mask fell in the sand just before the entire head was frozen solid. When the man was frozen, Sub-Zero removed the head and threw it on the ground. 'Fatality!' He yelled out.
'Eon made it towards Sub-Zero while avoiding the ice on the battlefield. 'Gruesome victory but an earned one.' He said with a smile. It had been a good idea to put these two against each other and in the first fight. Now Eon did not have to worry about Jack anymore. 'For this victory you will get the swords that jack had gained after his first victory and you will get the force rush. This allows you to rush over a battlefield and get an opponent off guard or get behind him.' The warrior nodded. Fighting in tournaments like this, he was in his element and this opponent had been less tough then his first opponent.' Sub-Zero walked towards the seats and sat down to see how both the body and head of Jack was send away.
'Take a good rest this night. Tomorrow the rest of you will fight and decide who will get through to the half finals.' With that said, Eon dissapeared.
This tournament was not as interesting anymore now these Teen Titans had been killed. Deathstroke woul have liked it better to have killed them himself but a well. You can't chance the present. Now it would be interesting to fight the big red man. He seemed rather strong and a fight against him could prove entertaining. Besides that big gun would be rather fun to use and would be a great addition to his weapons. Yes Deathstroke would like a match against this guy.
Nightcrawler was tense. He would fight again today and now the mutant was unsure if he had prepared enough. He had been training most of the time and had created some great new techniques but were they enough? The picture of the Captain being blown away still haunted his vision and Nightcrawler still wanted revenge on this Deathstroke. Now the chance of facing this man was good and the x-man really hoped to be facing that man today.
'Venomoth, use your poison powder.' Snape commanded his new pokemon. Venomoth nodded and send purple powder in the couldron. Severus was happy with this pokemon. Not only could this pokemon create chaos by the opponent but it also had some usefull spores that aided in the poisons. Yes, this pokemon was a perfect match for severus and he would bring it home to hogwarts. Now it was a matter of winning this tournament.
'Are you prepared?' Shikamaru asked. 'Yes.' Tenten nodded. 'I am prepared as well.' Rock Lee said with smile. The three hidden leaf ninja had been training a lot lately and if their teamwork was not perfect, it was now. 'We will win this tournament.' shikamaru said. 'We will bring back Kakashi sensei and return to win the battle for Konaha.' In reality, Shikamaru was worried. He knew the strenght of the other fighters and did not know if they were up to it. Then there was something else that had Shikamaru worried. He had the idea that this tournament was not what Eon said it was. He was doubting that the warriors who were defeated were being send home. From what he could see, there were coming more masked guards after the battles and some looked rather like the opponents. There was something going on here and it was not right. Not wanting to worry his teammates, the ninja had decided to keep this all to himself. he was not even sure if his thoughts were right or if he was worried for nothing. Still it would be dangerous to lose and they had to win.
'The next fight will be between the ninja's of the hidden leaf village and Nightcrawler.' Eon suddenly announced. 'The battle is on.' Shikamaru said, worried. 'Yes and we will take down this opponent.' Rock Lee said with his usual enthousiasm. Now it was time to travel to the forest, the place of battle.
'What do we know about this opponent?' Shikamaru asked his teammates as the stood in the forest where the battle would be. 'He is a teleporter.' Rock Lee said. 'And he uses two swords in close range.' Tenten added. 'Yes and he got a shield for his victory.' Rock Lee remembered. 'That is noy all. He can use his tail to attack or hold an sword and he can teleport in the air.' Shikamaru said. we are facing a very mobile opponent who can appear everywhere on the battlefield. That means that I will secure him with my shadow controll. Then you must hit him with all your strenght.' The plan was simple but a lot could go wrong. The other two were less worried and just nodded: 'Okay.'
Nightcrawler looked at his three opponents. This was not Deathstroke but he could see that these opponents would be tough. Nightcrawler had seen them fight and knew that one boy was the most dangerous with his martial arts. This was going to be a tough fight but if Nightcrawler won, he would be a step closer to fighting the killer of the captain.
As soon as the host gave the signal to fight, everybody moved. Tenten began by opening a scroll, where a spear erupted from. Nightcrawler jumped to the side with ease, only to suddenly find himself unable to move. 'I have him.' Shikamaru yelled to his teammates. The plan worked perfectly. The spear was the distraction that held his shadow. As soon as the shadow of the creature crossed with the shadow of the spear, Shikamaru took over. Now it was up to Rock Lee to finish the fight. The taijutsu used ran towards the opponent to finish the fight with one blow. Just before Rock Lee reached his opponent, the mutant teleported away. 'What happened?' Rock Lee asked confused. 'He escaped my jutsu.' Shikamaru said, not believing himself what happened. Nightcrawler appeared behind Shikamaru, who was just able to turn around to feel a foot hitting his head. he stepped backwards and got kicked as a result. 'I get him.' Tenten yelled as she opened another scroll where more then fifty kunai knifes appeared from. Nightcrawler took his shield and blocked all the weapons that were heading for him. 'Now.' Shikamaru suddenly yelled and Rock Lee ran again. He punched Nightcrawler in the face and followed up with his leaf hurricane. However, up in the air, Nightcrawler teleported away and ended up above his opponent, where he gave a kick that send Rock Lee crashing in a tree.
Nightcrawler now appeared in front of the girl, with both sword and shield ready. Tenten responded by summoning a dao and the two started fighting. the sword clashed with each other and with the shield but as soon as Nightcrawler used his tail to grab the swordhand of the girl, he soon had his blade at her throat. 'Surrender.' He spoke. 'You have to kill me first.' Tenten yelled as she took the bo staff she had won from the turtles out of a scroll and pushed Nightcrawler away. She then attacked with the weapon while her opponent jumped away and used his shield to push the staff away, only to kick her. 'This is your moment Tenten.' She spoke to herself as she threw the bo staff on the ground and summoned the two katana's that once belonged to a turtle as well from a scroll. Nightcrawler himself put his shield away as well and took his other sword. Both fighters dueled with two swords and neither gave in. Nightcrawler used his tail to trip the girl and as she fell, he put his two swords at her throat. 'I give you ein more chance. Surrender or I will kill you' He spoke. Nightcrawler did not want to kill anybody and the professor would dissaprove if he knew but the mutant knew he had no choise if he wanted to win this.
'I will help you Tenten.' Rock Lee said as he releashed his weights from his legs. When they fell, all kinds of dirt and leaves got blown in the air, making seeing each other harder. Suddenly Nightcrawler got hit by a flying kick to the chest and got pushed into some bushes. Rock Lee attacked again and the x-man had trouble avoiding all the punches and kicks. He did several backflips but could not be avoid a kick in the face and the uppercut that followed. Nightcrawler teleported away just before his opponent hit him with another attack. Rock Lee crashed into a tree and Nightcrawler teleported in front of him. He first kicked his opponent in the face several times and then lifted up Rock Lee and dissapeared. The feeling to be teleported away was awfull and the ninja felt sick and dizzy. In this state, Nightcrawler threw the ninja on the ground.
Nightcrawler teleported to behind Tenten and before she could move, he thrusted his swords in her back. 'Sorry.' Nightcrawler spoke as she fell to the ground with a yell. He did not want to take her out this way but he had to take them out, especially now the other guy had become more dangerous. 'Tenten!' Rock lee yelled out in anger. 'Eight gates release. First gate of opening. Open.' Rock Lee yelled. 'Second gate of healing open.' He followed up. Feeling stronger and revitalised, Rock Lee charged towards Nightcrawler who was just able to teleport away to avoid an attack. the attack did however he break a tree in half. The next moments, Rock Lee kept attacking and Nightcrawler teleporting away. The latter was afraid to attack himself at this moment, knowing that getting hit might mean end of the line.
Nightcrawler moved close to a tree, hoping to let his opponent crash against a tree again, when he found himself unable to move. 'Forgot about me?' Shikamaru asked. The ninja had kept silent while his teammates were fighting. This was one tough opponent as he could teleport away from the shadow controll jutsu most of times. However the closer Shikamaru was to the blue creature, the harder it was for the opponent to escape and the young ninja had noticed the last time Nightcrawler had not teleported away. He probably could not because of the distance. However when the shadow controll was releashed so Rock lee could attack, this fighter was able to teleport away. Shikamaru had found a way to help this, but it would cost him. 'Hit this guy with everything you have.' Shikamaru yelled. 'Fouth gate of pain open.' Rock Lee yelled just before he shot towards his opponent. Rock Lee kicked Nightcrawler in the air and then smashed the opponent with all his might into the ground. Nightcrawler fell down and did not move again. 'Congratulations you win.' Eon began. Rock Lee turned towards Shikamaru and saw how the other guy was bloodied as well. 'How?' Rock Lee asked. 'The only way to make sure he did not teleport away.' was the answer of Shikamaru. He had kept on controlling Nightcrawler during the attacks. the strain and power that came with it had busted up Shikamaru himself. At that moment, Rock Lee fell down. 'I will heal you.' Eon said. He was surprised to see how these had won. He had believed that Nightcrawler would win this battle and make him stronger. The host did not know the true power of these shinobi. He had underestimated them.
After healing both Rock Lee and Shikamaru, he said. 'The damage to your bodies are severe and you must rest if you want to fight again tomorrow.' He then said. 'Now for your winnings. Because you actually killed him, you Rock Lee, will get the powers.' 'Okay.' Rock Lee said surprised. 'You get the ability to teleport short distances altough it will use your chakra. You also get the shield that Nightcrawler has won and because he killed Tenten and then you killed him. You also get the two katana's, the bo staff and the ability to seal weapons in scrolls and release them. Again at the cost of some chakra.' The host finished. 'Okay.' Rock Lee said, not sure what was happening.
Eon send Nightcrawler away and when he went to send Tenten away as well, Rock lee walked towards the girl. 'I am sorry I could not protect you.' he said with tears in his eyes. 'I failed you and our master. ' A hand on his shoulder and then he heard shikamaru talk. 'Ninja's put their lives on their line and sometimes we have tough opponents and someone dies. There is nothing to do about that and Tenten knew that. We did our best and we cannot do anything else. We could not help her.' Rock lee looked behind him and saw Shikamaru standing. 'The only thing we can do now is win this tournament for Tenten.' The Nara-clan member added. 'Okay.' Rock Lee said as he rubbed the tears from his eyes. Together, the two watched as Tenten was send away.
The next battle was this afternoon. Severus had taken two drips from his luck potion and he had small bottles with potions and poisons with him. all of them to aid im battle, altough the wizard had never used any in a combat situation. could be interesting. He now also had a new friend, the pokemon venomoth.This creature had helped Snape a lot with his potions as he found that the powder could be used very well.
As he walked over the tall grass, the man noticed the boy standing who would be his opponent. Because it was only a boy, Snape would try not to kill him but if he had to, the boy would die.
'I will show you the power of a real god.' Percy said to the host as his opponent walked near. 'Then you can prove it.' Eon said. As for spectators, the host could only spot Sub-Zero. The two shinobi were still too weak, he guessed and both Deathstroke and Hellboy were to arrogant to watch the fight. 'Start the fight.' Eon said as he stepped backwards. Both warriors were a bit crippled. Percy Jackson was away from water and Snape had not been able to prepare much or create other potions. It was curious who would win this battle, a long ranged fighter against someone who did best at close range.
Percy began by getting some water out of a bottle. He then then shot it towards Snape but the wizard moved his wand and the water dissapeared. 'What?' Percy said surprised. 'Cleaning spells do have their uses.' Severus smiled.
Percy got over this surprise quickly and drew the lightsaber he had won during his last battle. He had trained a lot with this weapon and felt comfortable using it. As he activated it, Snape yelled 'Expelliarmus' percy flew back as if he was hit in the stomach by an invisible fist and the lightsaber flew trough the air. The potion master catched the weapon with ease and an simple reducto destroyed the lightsaber. 'Stupify.' Snape yelled and the boy was just able to dodge the attack. Knowing he had to close the distance, Percy created an earthquake that shook the ground. At first Snape almost lost his balance but he soon was able to escape in the air. Percy looked up. 'I have more power.' Percy yelled as he created a large wind that blew Severus to the ground. he rolled over and stood up. Percy then created water out thin air and drenched himself in it. He took the ballpen and turned it into his sword. He then rushed towards his opponent.
Normally Snape would counter with an attack or at the least create a shield but his instincts said that he had to just stand there and wait. Percy could not believe what was happening. His opponent just gave up. With a fierce blow, the half god used reptide to slash at his opponent. The sword went right through Snape and at that moment, he realised that his sword did not work since the opponent was mortal. A red flash flew towards percy and he fell down uncoincious.
'Wow.' Eon said as he walked towards Snape. he knew that this might become a one-sided battle but the host never expected that it would end that quick. 'Congratulations with your victory.' he said.
'You will get the lightsaber that Percy had won and you will be able to heal yourself using water.' The host said with a smile. 'Very well.' Severus Snape nodded before he walked away.
That night, the last two fighters stood ready to fight on top of the mountain. Both were arrogant and convinced that they would get the victory. these were strong and powerfull warriors who had faced opponents of greater size. 'Fight.' Eon said with a smile. he knew that this fight was going to be interesting.
Deathstroke started the battle by taking his two pistols and started shooting his red opponent. All the bullets bounced off the skin of Hellboy and he took his own pistol and shot Deathpool straight in the chest, who fell down. The warrior stood up as Hellboy charged at the man. The big fist missed target and deathstroke jumped up to kick the demon in the face and then deliver a few powerful punches. Hellboy managed to punch his opponent in the stomach with his big fist and when he attacked again, Deathstroke used the shield of captain America to defend himself. The fist rammed the shield several times without effect. He then grabbed the the shield, which Deathstroke let go after some pulling. deathstroke took his energy lance and attacked his opponent, who threw the shield away and flew into the air. Suddenly a giant red gorilla landed behind Deathstroke and threw the asssasin off a cliff. Deathstroke managed to hold on to the ledge and Big red fired a ball of energy from his big hand. At that moment, Deathstroke threw himself up in the air and the attacked missed. Big Red however ran towards his opponent and slammed the man down.
Deathstroke rolled of the mountain at high speed and after a couple of minutes landed on the ground below.
He stood up just as a red eagle flew towards him and turned back into Hellboy.
Slade threw some grenades at at his opponent, which exploded in the face of Hellboy. 'Damnit.' Big Red yelled. This was going to be a tougher fight then he thought. Deathstroke took his lance and attacked his opponent. The first move missed and when Slade began to attack the legs of the other fighter and Big Red jumped in the air. Deathstroke thrusted his weapon at the chest of his opponentand then kicked the demon in the face. a blast of the hand of Hellboy missed and Deathstroke threw a flashbang grenade.
Disorientated, Hellboy staggered about and Deathstroke this chance to use his two uzi's and empty both at the chest of his opponent.
Hellboy charged at his opponent through the rain of bullets and Deathstroke was just able to avoid getting hit. With both weapons empty, he threw them on the ground. Hellboy smashed with his fist but Deathstroke jumped away, took a katana and slashed at the demon. The attack hit the skin and Hellbow howled. he followed by smashing the sword in tiny bits and then used his forked tail to pull the leg of his opponent and force Deathstroke on the ground. As the assasin fell, the demon used this moment to slam his big fist into the opponent several times with all his might.
Knowing he had little other option, Slade Wilson used the big bomb that he carried with him to escape the justice leage if he ever came into trouble. The bomb exploded and Deathstroke rolled away.
When he looked up, his opponent was gone. Suddenly something big hit Deathstroke from above and grabbed him. Hellboy had escaped into the air and now landed on top of his opponent. The two punched each other other several times untill finally Deathstroke collapsed on the ground. The cannon that was infused with the big hand of Hellboy finished the assasin off.
'Good fight.' Eon walked up to Big Red. He knew that this was going to be an interesting fight and he was not dissapointed. Two powerfull superhuman beings who could regenerate fought and in the end, the stronger of the two won. 'Now what do I get of him?' Big Red asked as he lit another cigar. 'aah to the point.' Eon reacted with a smile. 'You will get the shield of captain America and the energy lance of deathstroke himself.' He said. 'Very well.' Came the reaction of hellboy as he took the two weapons. Now his biggest competition was down, he knew there was no way that he would lose.
That night was a relaxed one. Shikamaru and Rock Lee had been tired of relaxing and were training again. Now there were only two of them, they knew that they had to fight even more to survive this ordeal. Rock Lee, happy that he could finally use ninjitsu, was also training in mastering his new skills. He had sealed all his weapons in scrolls that he could open if he needed any of them. Shikamaru was mostly working on strategies against the three other fighters.
Sub-Zero was practising his kata's. He had trained himself in the abilities that he had won in his last match and now was preparing his mind. What he had learned in the clan was that a battle played both in mind and body. if one of them was not correct, the battle would be lost. As grandmaster, he could not lose.
Hellboy was snoring. His last fight was tough and now, the demon took a rest. He was not worried as he knew that he would win anyway.
Severus Snape was finishing some last potions. He had not been able to use any but now he had two extra ready. One of them increased his brain activity and made him smarter while the other would increase his physical strenght. The one he was working on at the moment would increase his condition. He also had created a small spell that would force this lightsaber to fight for him.
Eon himself was working. Having decided that he still had not enough soldiers, he was working on a list for a third and final tournament. with all these slaves that he would have after this tournament would end, the man was now ready to invite the strongest of warriors into his tournament. if these would go on a rampage, he had enough powerful slaves to subdue them. Suddenly there was a knock on his door. 'Enter.' Eon said. A man wearing a black cape, mask and a big scythe entered the room. 'Are my new slaves ready.' Eon asked. 'Yes my lord.' The man replied. 'Good. Now are you prepared yourself.' Eon came again. 'yes I will destroy him.' Dante answered.
The next morning, all all five warriors sat down in the arena. Each and everyone was prepared to win and all knew it was today. 'Welcome.' Eon smiled. 'Today is an important day because today will be a winner.' Neither of warriors reacted much to this statement. They were curious on who would they face and when they were to fight. 'both battles will be fought here and now. Tonight will be the finale.' Eon finished. He looked at all the warriors. Yesterday the man had decided who would fight each other and now he hoped that the fights would be interesting. 'Just tell us who fights first.' Hellboy said with an bored face. 'Very well.' Eon agreed. 'The first fight will be fought by the shinobi of the Leaf, who will fight Severus Snape.' Eon looked the response and all three were tense.
First Rock Lee and shikamaru made it to the field and they were soon followed by Snape, who took three potions before he drew his wand. 'Either of you get to the finales. who it will be, we find out now!' with these words, Eon stepped back.
The battle started with Shikamaru, who threw a three kunai at Snape. The wizard used the shield charm to block the attack but as soon as he lifted it, found himelf unable to move. Shikamaru had attached his shadow to the kunai and taken controll of the shadow of Snape. "You cannot win now. The battle is over.' Shikamaru laughed. Rock Lee ran towards his opponent to deliver a punch when suddenly a create made of light appeared next to Snape. This doe made all the shadows dissapear and blinded Rock Lee. 'Expelliarmus' Snape yelled and Rock Lee got pushed backwards. The wizard knew that taking care of the other ninja was essential for his plan. 'imperio.' Snape yelled. Shikamaru was just able to dodge the spell and threw a sai dagger at the wizard, who moved his wand and the dagger turned into an snake who glided towards shikamaru. Rock Lee teleported to behind the wizard and kicked him away. The wand flew out of the hand of Severus as he landed on the ground. 'Now I have you.' Rock Lee said as he summoned the two katana's from a scroll. 'Accio.' Snape yelled and the lightsaber appeared from his pocket. Rock Lee attacked and the lightsaber cut through both the swords. Severus then disapparated and a appeared a few feet away, standing on his feet. Shikamaru had killed the snake and now threw it on the ground near Snape. Snape moved his wand to let the weapon dissapear but it was already too late. 'Shadow strangle jutsu.' Shikamaru said as the shadow found its way around the neck of Snape. Lucky for Snape, he could make eye contact with the ninja and the wizard stared into the eyes Shikamaru. 'Get out.' the shinobi suddenly yelled and as he stepped backwards, releashed the jutsu. Occlumency had its uses. Before Snape could use this distraction he got kicked up by the other warrior. 'leaf Hurricane.' Rock Lee yelled. Snape then fell down from a height to the ground. everything hurt, he had broken at least two bones and he had to deal with two opponents. Things did not look good for the wizard. 'Aqua eructo.' Snape yelled as he aimed his want towards himself. The water hit Snape and he instantly felt better. He then used an healing spell on himelf to repair the bones. He then threw his pokeball, to summon venomoth. Severus Snape was back in the battle.
He knew he had to even the odds and get rid of one of the fighters. suddenly, Severus had an idea. 'Serpensortia. ' Snape yelled and a snake appeared. 'Engorgia.' Severus said as the snake became very large. 'Now you two attack the fighter.' Snape commanded and both Venomoth and the large snake moved towards Rock Lee.
Now Snape turned to the other ninja.'Incendio.' Snape said as he aimed his wand at the sand, which caught fire instantly. He then twirled around, activating a disillusionment charm that rendered himself invisble. Shikamaru threw two kunai at the spot he thought the wizard was but the weapons flew away without touching anything. As he thought were the opponent could be, he got suddenly hit by a spell.
Severus made himself visible again and watched the other fighter. Rock Lee had just dodged attacks both creatures and he had done away with the weights already. 'Eight gates release formation. First gate of opening, Open.' Rock Lee began. 'Second gate of healing, open. Third gate of life, open. Fourth gate of pain, open.' Rock Lee felt himself becoming stronger. No eye for the wizard at the moment, he first faced the creatures. He first kicked the snake with power and then dodged a psybeam of the pokemon. Rock Lee jumped up in the air and smashed Venomoth down into the sand. This was an instant KO for the pokemon but Rock Lee jumped aside again as the giant snake now tried to bite him. the snake came again and Rock Lee grabbed the mouth of the animal and tried to keep himself from not getting bit by it. Jumping away from it, Rock Lee kicked the top of the head with a straight leg. The hidden leaf shinobi then jumped on the sand, picked the tail of the snake and threw the animal away. Rock Lee then ran towards the snake and with a powerful punch, killed it.
Wanting to turn, Rock Lee found himself not able to move. What was happening.. Shadow posession on him? Rock Lee turned around and saw his fellow ninja standing, his hands forming a seal, the eyes vacant. 'He is under my controll now.' Snape said with ease. Severus took his wand and pointed it towards Rock Lee. It was time to end it. 'Fifth gate of limit, open. Sixth gate of view, open.' The shinobi could not believe he had now opened all six gates that he could open. Rock Lee forced the jutsu away and dodged a red beam with ease. The ninja then ran towards his opponent, who created a large wall that Rock Lee smashed through with ease. Rushing towards his opponent, Shikamaru suddenly attacked Rock Lee with a kunai. 'I do not want to hurt a friend but if must I will knock you out.' He said as he stopped the kunai and delivered a kick to the chest that send Shikamaru against a small wall surrounding the field. Rock Lee turned to his opponent again but saw how a giant dragon of fire came towards the shinobi. Rock Lee jumped away but the fire followed and soon, he was overtaken. Using his strenght and speed, Rock Lee escaped from the fire to face his opponent once more. 'Morning Gorilla.' Rock Lee yelled while Snape yelled: 'Crucio.' The spell hit Rock Lee before he could attack. All the muscles and tissue that already had been ripped due to the opening of the six gates got more strain on them and Rock Lee yelled it out in pain. On top of that, Rock Lee got hit with the full force of fiendfyre, that only stopped when Severus lifted the curse. Rock Lee tried to stand up, even though his whole body yelled in pain. Snape aimed his wand to take out this opponent but before the wizard could attack, Rock Lee fell on the ground again. He was unable to fight.
'Well that was an odd series of events.' Eon said with a smile. he had never expected such a fight between these fighters and that Rock Lee had shown incredible power. These eight gates would be usefull and especially with this Rock Lee. 'You are the winner professor Snape.' Eon said. This Rock Lee and Shikamaru would come in a second, first he needed to give Snape the spoils of victory. 'You will get the nunchaku's, katana's bo staff and shield to have in your arsenal. You will also be able to seal these weapons in scrolls and summon them from it using your wand and you will have a quicker way to teleport.' Eon said. 'From Rock Lee you get the ability to open the first four gates to enhance your chakra and become both stronger and quicker. It will have the same effects as on Rock Lee.' he finished. 'And the other fighter?' Severus asked. 'You did not beat him. Rock Lee beat him.' Came the answer. With that done, Eon walked up to Rock Lee and gave him two sai and the ability to hold someone down with shadow before sending both ninja away.
After both hidden leaf shinobi were send away, Eon looked at at the last fighters. Snape had taken a seat again and the last two warriors looked ready to battle. 'Do we have to wait untill this afternoon to battle?' Hellboy asked. 'No.' Came the answer. 'You will fight here and now. One finalist is known and the other will be known after this last fight.' He looked at the two of them. 'The finale will be tonight.' Eon added. One final look at the two last fighters and Eon said: 'Come down please.'
Both Sub-Zero and Hellboy made it down. These were two of the strongest warriors and it did not surprise Eon that these two made it this far. he was curious however which of these strong men would win this fight and take on Severus Snape.
As Eon stepped backwards, the fight began. Sub-Zero rushed forward to attack his opponent. Hellboy saw his opponent coming and smashed his big fist against the chest of the fighter. Sub-Zero then slid towards his opponent again and punched Hellboy several times in the face. The demon laughed and headbutted his opponent. Sub-Zero then kicked the man in the chest and dodged another blow of the big fist. Creating a large wall of ice, Hellboy smashed through it with ease and shot energy from it. The Lin Kuei glided aside to avoid the blow and used a ball of ice to freeze the demon. He then rushed to his opponent again and smashed the demon in his face several times. Hellboy grabbed Sub-Zero and threw him away. The demon then turned into a red polar bear and attacked. Sub-Zero blocked several attacks and swept his feet, flouring the animal. The polar bear stood up and slashed at the man, who punched the animal in the stomach and then gave a headbutt. Slamming his fist against the chest of the animal, freezing the liver and destroying it. Then a double fisted blow send the animal away that turned into Hellboy again. 'So you want to dance huh.' Hellboy said with a smile. He liked this fight. The opponent was strong.
Sub-zero took his frozen sword and ran up to Hellboy. The weapon clashed with the big fist, which shattered the weapon. Surprised, Sub-Zero ducked away from another attack and froze him again. Creating a dagger of ice, Sub-Zero attacked his opponent. The dagger did not penetrate the skin and it broke on impact. As retaliation, Hellboy knocked the other fighter away. Sub-Zero summoned four swords out of thin air, which attacked Hellboy. Sub-Zero took the frozen sword Soul Edge. It was time to use this weapon.
Hellboy had now smashed all the swords and was flying towards Sub-Zero while the latter used force rush.
The fist crashed with the sword, what broke the ice around soul egde. Sub-Zero reacted quickly and slashed the chest of his opponent. Hellboy cried out in pain and blocked another attack with his big fist. He then stepped backwards and picked up the shield of captain America off the ground, where he had dropped it. Soul edge hit the shield and the big fist smashed the weapon out of the hands of Sub-Zero. The assasin was just able to avoid another blow aimed at his head but the tail of Hellboy tripped the warrior. Sub-Zero managed to roll away before the fist could hit him again and the warrior rolled backwards.
Sub-Zero first froze the feet of his opponent to the sand and then followed up with a big nugget of ice above the head of Big Red. The ice hit as Hellboy was smashing the ice around his feet away. He then jumped in the air to avoid a gliding attack and brought himself down on Sub-Zero. One last blow with the fist knocked Sub-Zero out and. Hellboy then gave one last smash with his hand, that made a large wound on the head of the warrior.
'Fatality.' Eon smiled. 'well sort off.' He added. Walking up to Hellboy, he said: 'You won and will be in the finale with Severus Snape.' 'Now what do I get.' Hellboy smiled, wondering what he would get. 'A down to buisness.' Eon liked that. 'You will get the sword Soul Edge. The ability to create four swords out of thin air, force rush and the own ability of Sub-Zero to freeze an opponent for a couple of seconds.' 'Good.' Was the only reaction of Hellboy as he walked away. 'Tonight you two will fight right here.' Eon said to both Hellboy and Severus Snape. They nodded and walked away.
Eon looked at the moon. It was only a couple of minutes before the final fight would occur and he would have a second commander. Eon also had the list of warriors who would fight in his third and final tournament. These would have some of the strongest warriors in the different universes and when they were enslaved, Eon would have enough warriors to conquer all the worlds. He would become the all powerfull ruler and Eon would introduce the sun god and moon god as the two only gods.
His warrior slaves all sat on the benches of the arena. All still masked. Their black robes made it very hard to spot each warrior and one could only say they were there if you knew it.
Finally, the two warriors entered the arena and took their places on the sand. 'Welcome.' Eon said as he moved in between the two. 'You are the two greatest warriors of this tournament and have left a lot of other fighters in the dust. Now it will be decided who will win this tournament, get the island and will be granted what he desires the most.' 'Shut up and let us fight.' Hellboy said as he lit a cigar. They were anxious to fight, that was nice. 'Well then, if you want it so bad. Begin!' Eon said.
'Hahaha that you made it to the finales. Hellboy laughed. 'I put you down with one punch.' He boasted. 'You are welcome to try.' Came the answer of the wizard. Hellboy ran towards Snape but the wizard teleported away. Snape then used his wand to summon purple powder from a bottle and send it towards Hellboy. He had bottled the poison powder of Venomoth to use in this fight. As Hellboy was coughing, Snape yelled: Stupefy. The stunning spell hit target but bounced off Hellboy.
Snape had another plan however. He had taken potions that increased his strenght, luck and brain activity. 'Go Venomoth.' Snape yelled as the pokemon erupted from the ball. Using an enlargment spell, venomoth grew five times his own size. 'Now gust.' Snape yelled. As a result, Hellboy got blown backwards. Using force rush to get back, Hellboy froze the pokemon before it could use sleep powder and then ran up to it. He smashed the pokemon out of the ice and then to the ground. This was the kind of opponent that Hellboy was used fighting. As the Venomoth lay on the ground, Hellboy took his own handgun and shot it six times. This finished off the pokemon. 'Now where is that wizard?' Hellboy wondered as he suddenly saw a giant snake made of fire heading towards him. 'O shit.' Came the reply. Hellboy yelled out as the fire burned him. He jumped up and flew out of the fire, only to see the snake made of fire following him. Hellboy landed on the ground, turned into a red mole and dug his way into the ground.
After the opponent fled into the ground, The burning snake, flew through the arena and Snape stopped it. The pokemon was completely burned away.
After a couple of minutes, the mole came back up and turned into Hellboy again. He aimed his large fist and shot a blast of energy at Snape. 'Protego.' Severus yelled and a shield formed that stopped the attack.
Hellboy was moving again. This opponent proved a tougher opponent then Hellboy thought at first. He still knew he could put the man down with one punch but getting that punch in would be difficult. Hellboy then summoned the ghost swords to attack Snape but a flick of the wand turned these swords into sticks.
Another paralyzing spell bounced off again and Hellboy picked up the shield. He did not dare turning into an attacking animal. His skin seemed to protect against these spells but Big Red was not sure if he were so lucky if he transformed into an animal. It was time to use the fist and shield combination that had dominated Sub-Zero earlier today. He hoped to overpower his opponent.
'Sectumsempria.' Snape yelled, but the spell got deflected byt he shield as Hellboy was nearing his opponent. 'Evanesco.' Snape then yelled and the shield dissapeared from the hand of Hellboy, who was now almost close enough to hit. Before he could hit however, Snape dissapeared to appear a few feet away. 'First gate of opening. Open.' Severus said as he moved his wand around himself. 'Second gate of healing open. Third gate of life open. Fourth gate of pain open.' He moved his wand around himself as he opened all the gates that he could. He then took a piece of parchment and tapped it with his wand. Out of the paper appeared the lightsaber he had won. Severus activated it just as Hellboy tried to smash Snape. Both weapons clashed with each other and Hellboy was surprised at both the speed and strenght of his opponent. The weapons clashed with each other several times and Hellboy was quickly taking the upper hand. His experience with hand to hand weapons proved better. It did not take long before the lightsaber was knocked out of the hand of Snape. He quickly used his wand and yelled: 'Levicorpus.' Hellboy flew into the air and before big Red knew what was happening, hung upside down on one leg in the air. 'Not funny.' was his comment. He turned into a red eagle and flew to the ground, all the while avoiding scarlet beams. Hellboy turned back into himself and grabbed the weapon he got from Deathstroke. Using the energy lance, Hellboy charged at Snape, ready to change directions the second the man teleported away. However Severus moved his wand and the energy lance turned into a large snake. The animal put his teeth into the arm of Big Red, who yelled out in pain and threw the snake away. 'At that moment, Snape yelled: 'Avada Kedavra.' Hellboy threw himself on the ground and avoided this killing curse but as Hellboy stood up, Severus used his wand to shoot the lightsaber at the warrior, that hit him in the stomach. Hellboy buckled over in pain and Snape aimed another killing curse. This one hit Hellboy straight in the face, killing the warrior instantly. He fell down with a cry.
'You won.' Eon said to Snape with a smile. The host could not believe that Hellboy was killed by a mere man. 'you defeated Hellboy and became champion of this tournament. Congratulations.' severus listened to this all as he healed himself. Next to all the powers that Hellboy had recieved, Snape also got the large hand, that he could attach to his fist. Eon also gave severus a new venomoth and then walked off to send Hellboy away. 'Do I get my prize now?' severus asked the host. 'Yes, after one final battle.' Came the reply. 'battle?' Snape asked, confused. 'Against who?' There was nobody else to fight, so who was he going to battle. 'You see, this is the second tournament I have held.' Eon started to explain. 'everyone who looses got send to my lab instead of home. I revive them.' 'Why?' Severus asked. 'To get my own army.' Came the reply. 'The winner of the first tournament got killed by all the slave soldiers I had created already so he could become their commander.' severus looked around and saw masked and robed people appearing from everywhere. 'in fact, Bellatrix Lestrange is one of my slaves.' Eon said. Snape did not care about the woman. He had never liked her but it seemed that he needed to fight his way out of this mess. Eon continued his talk. 'Now I will have you face off against the commander of the first army. you will become commander of the second army but I want to see who will get stronger.' 'Never!' Snape yelled as he send a curse at Eon.
The host dodged the attack and yelled: 'Dante, help the slaves from the second army to get their commander.' Snape was strong but against most of the other participants of this tournament and the commander of the first army, he had no chance of winning.
Severus used a jet of water from his wand to restore himself. knowing that escape was impossible, the wizard would fight untill the bitter end. He could still not understand what was happening or why he gained these powers if he was to die anyway. That was not something he needed to be concerned with at the moment. In front of him now stood a muggle knight in armour with a very large scythe in hand.
Severus grabbed his wand and aimed it at this opponent when he suddenly found himself unable to move. 'shadow controll.' He heard from two sides. Using all the magical power he had, Snape created fiendfyre to destroy the shadows and attack the opponent. Dante teleported away just before he could get hit and both Kit Fisto and percy Jackson used their aqua abilities to get rid of the fire.
At that moment, Snape got attacked by Deathstroke, an man he had never seen before and Sub-Zero. All of them holding swords. Teleporting away, Severus avoided direct contact, only to be hit by a kunai that pulled him towards Dante. Unable to move for a few seconds, Snape saw how the scythe turned into a spear and then how the weapon headed towards him.
