Deadliest Fictional Warrior: Captain America Versus Batman

Slowly, the door opened and three men stepped into the building.
'It is good to be back.' A young blond man with curly hair said. 'Indeed.' Came the reply of another in scrubs.
The last man turned to the camera and spoke. 'We are back with a new season. This time we will look once again on which Fictional warrior deserves the title of the Deadliest Warrior.' 'That is right.' A voice suddenly spoke. Deadliest warrior is back, more intense then ever before. New warriors, new tests and new experts. However, the hosts stay the same.

In the fightclub today, we have Geoff Desmoulin, a karate blackbelt and biomedical scientist. Then there is doctor Armand Dorian, a trauma doctor and our medical expert. Last but not least, we have Max Geiger, our one and only computer expert. It will be his job to put all the data in the computer and run the simulations to see who will win the most in a 1000 battles.'

 'Yes, we will put these warriors this season through several tests to see which one proves better and stronger.' Geoff said while nodding.
The first fight this season will be between two of the most famous heroes of both the DC and Marvel universe.

'This is going to nerd me out completely.' Max said with a evil grin.
 'Yes I bet.' Doctor Dorian said. 'i am just curious how these men will hold out after being attacked.' The man said.
'Guys, I think its time to announce the fighters for the episode of today.' Geoff said as he walked towards a large table.

The first fighter of today is a world war two veteran and posterboy for America. It is Captain America.

Born as Steven Rogers on Juli 4 1920, he grew up in a war torn world. After seeing the pain and suffering the nazi's did to europe, Rogers vowed to join the United States army and win the war. 
However, due to his sickness and frail body, the young man was not accepted. It was only after a general heard about him that Rogers got the chance to be in the supersoldier progam and be used as a tool of war.
The super soldier serum turned Steven in the ultimate warrior and after a great training in weapons, martial arts and gymnastics, he became captain America.

His opponent is a master detecive and the fear of Gotham city. It is Batman.

As a child the parents of Bruce Wayne got murdered. The young billionair trained himself and used the his compagny Wayne enterprises to develop high tech gadgets to take the mantle of the bat and fight crime to become the fear of all criminals and the one who cannot be corrupted in a corrupt city.

Both warriors have a set of four weapons that they are allowed to use during this match. The Captain will wield his iconic Shield, A stungun, the thompson submachine gun and his martial arts. He will be wearing a uniform made of Kevlar and light weight titanium.

The weapons of Batman are the Batarangs, explosive gell and grenades, the batclaw and his martial arts. His armour is made of Kevlar and titanium.

Now we have the weapons, we only need the experts to get the tests started. For Captain America, we have two close friends and supporters who know all about Rogers. 

The first one is fellow Marvel hero, wallcrawler and great fan of the captain. It is Spiderman.

'The Captain has had the best training, experience and weapons. There is no way he could lose against this bat.' Spiderman said as he jumped from a wall. 

The other expert is a long time friend and a soldier of the captain. It is Falcon.

'The captain is not only a national patriot and hero. He also is the leader of the Avengers and a strategical mastermind.' The black man said before he used the shield to hit a testdummy.

The experts of Batman are convinced that the dark knight will be victorious in this duel. The first one is former Robin and the first fighter trained by Bruce Wayne. It is Nightwing.

The young man moved his kali sticks around and then turned to the camera. 'Why Batman is the best? He does not need drugs to become the fear of criminals.'

The second expert is the daughter of an old nemesis of Batman and the mother of his son. It is Talia al Ghul.

A beautiful woman with long brown hair stood by a mannequin wearing the costume of Batman. 'It is impossible to take Bruce out when wearing this. I know for I have tried.' 

With the experts having given their opinion, now it was the turn of the hosts to predict a winner. Geoff turned to the camera and said: 'Batman is good but he is not a soldier. That will make the difference in my opinion. I think the Captain has the initial edge.'  The captain is good but Batman proved to be both deadly and stealthy. That will give him the win.' Doctor Dorian spoke. Lastly it was the turn of Max. 'Both are legends and great fighters. I am also really curious to see how Batman is planning to get past the shield of Captain America. If he can't, he cannot win.' 

We have introduced the warriors, met the experts and seen the weapons. Now it is time to test the weapons and see which ones get the edge.

First off, we will tackle the Long range game. It is the Thompson submachine gun

Versus the Iconic batarangs of Batman.

First we will test the lethality of the weapon straight out of world war two, the thompson submachine gun.

'Tell us the tale about the gun.' Geoff said to Falcon, who came towards the hosts with the weapon. 'This is the Thompson submachine gun. Better known as the Tommy gun.' The hero started. 'It can fire 600 to 1500 rounds per minute and can hold a 100 round drum magazine. It is good for spraying down your foes and has a effective reach of 160 feet.' He explained. 'What kind of bullets are we talking about?' Geoff asked. '.45' was the answer. 

'You have to explain one thing to me. A hero with a gun, what is the story about that?' Max asked. 'Well. Cap is a soldier and has fought in world war two. he knows that sometimes you have to kill your opponent and altough he does not like it, he is capable of killing.' Came the explanation. 'How does that work in a combat situation?' Geoff asked. 'Cap will only use this weapon if he has no other choise and will always try to injure and not kill.' Falcon said. 

The hosts nodded and Geoff spoke. 'Very well. Lets head out to the shooting range and test this baby out.' 

At the range, Geoff walked up at the costumed heroes and spoke. 'We have set up six targets. Three of them are standing still and the other three are moving. One of the moving targets is wearing the costume of Batman.' Falcon nodded. 'You have five minutes to shoot all the dummies.' 'Will do.' Came the reply as Falcon picked his spot.

'Are you ready?" Geoff yelled. 'Yes.' Came the answer and Geoff started the countdown. 'Three....Two.....One.....Fire!' At that moment, the hero started firing his weapon. The thompson rattled and the targets got shaken up as bullets kept hitting it. During the shooting, Falcon had to replace the magazine two times. 'Time.' Geoff yelled suddenly and the three hosts made their way towards Falcon to see what damage the thompson submachine gun has done.

'The first three are dead.' Max said as he watched the carnage. 'Yes you can see that not only are their killing shots to the head and neck, there are bullets in the groin  area and armpits. This means that even if this was not a kill, the opponent would still not be able to attack anymore.' Doctor Dorian pointed towards the first of the targets. The other two standing targets had similair damage as Max pointed out.

Next were the moving targets. 'Oh oh.' Geoff said as he walked up to the first. 'Two in the right arm and one in the left leg but otherwise no damage at all.' 'Well he will be still in a world of pain.' Spiderman said as walked with the others. 'Yes, he would be unable to fight back.' Came the response Falcon. 'I disagree.' The doctor said. 'These places do not disable a body.'  'And Batman has been shot up worse and still fought back.' Talia suddenly spoke, who had come to watch as well. 

'Next target.' Geoff said. 'This one had been hit in the legs and stomach multiple times. 'A delayed kill.' Dorian explained. 'These would give internal bleedings that would slowly kill Batman. Having said that, Batman would not be able to fight back after being shot up.' Falcon nodded with a smile.

'Last but not least the armoured target.' Max said. 'let us see if the Bat can deflect bullets.' he added. 'And it looks like he can.' Came the response of Max. 'Yes it seems that the kevlar has stopped all the bullets. Only one had penetrated the cheek. 'This is not a kill, in fact many people have been able to continue fighting with a bullet in their cheek. Chewing will be a problem but that is all.' The doctor explained. 'So what you are saying that he is walking away?' Max asked. 'Yes he would.' Came the answer of the doctor.

Of the six targets, three are kills, one is a delayed kill and two are walking away. The most important target, the one with the armour, suffered no real damage. Now let us see how the Batarangs of Batman will do.

Back in the fightclub, Nightwing brought the weapons that made Batman famous towards the hosts. 'So these are the famous Batarangs.' Max said as he held one of these black objects. 'Yes.' Came the answer of Nightwing, who was holding the others. 'There are several different ones. The basic ones I have here but there are also batarangs with knockout gas, electrical shocks, batarangs that emit sounds and boomerangs.' The former Robin kept explaining. 'How does Batman attack with these?' Geoff asked. 'That depends on the situation.' Came the answer. 'Usually they are used to distract the opponent or knock weapons out of the hands but if he can, Batman knocks enemies out with them.' 'Awesome.' was all Max could say. 'It is interesting because Knock out gas is used by police forces all around the world to controll people and take someone out without doing permanent damage.' Geoff explained to everyone else. 'The same goes for electrical shocks right?' Max asked. 'Absolutely, just think about tasers. someone can be controlled or knocked out without doing any real damage.' Geoff answered. 'Batman would charge these just enough to knock someone out. Useful to take a thief out quicky.' Nightwing added. 

'Well Let us head out to the range where we can tests the batarang.' Geoff said.

On the range, Geoff took the hero to the mannequins. 'Again we have six mannequins here for you to attack. Three standing still and three moving.' Geoff began. ''Now to test all the different batarangs, we have special targets set up for you. One of the three standing targets is holding a tommy gun, you must knock the weapon out of the hands of the user. With the other two I want to see a clean take out' 'Okay.' Nightwing nodded. 'Next are the moving targets. The first one, just take it out. The second one is holding the shield of the Captain, I want your batarang to go behind it and hit the target from the back and the last mannequin has the costume of the Captain. You must hit it with at least a normal batarang and the electral shock Batarang.' Nightwing nodded and Max walked up to the masked hero 'Good luck.' he said as the young man tapped the warrior on the back.

'Three....Two....One....Throw it.' Geof yelled after taking some distance. 

Nightwing started off with the target holding the weapon. Two Batarangs flew at it and the first one while the first one hit the hand of the mannequin, the other knocked the weapon away. Other Batarangs hit both the static and the moving targets. When the five minutes were over, Geoff yelled to stop.

With all the batarangs thrown, it is time to see what damage these weapons inflicted and if they did better then the tommy gun.

'Let us first start with the mannequin holding the gun.' Geoff said as the three hosts and two experts walked towards the targets. 'Took this one out first because of the danger.' Nightwing explained. 'Yes it seems you knocked the weapon out of his hand.' Geoff said. 'And the force would break at least two fingers.' Doctor Dorian added. The next mannequin lay on the ground, having been hit in the knee and head. 'This is a rather interesting one, the target is knocked down and out but he is not dead or seriously injured.' The doc exclaimed. The last mannequin suffered similair damage. 'Now up to the moving targets.' Geoff said. The first one of them had a batarang in the forehead. 'I wanted to show that altough he would not do it, a batarang can kill.' Nightwing explained, which got a smile from Talia. 

With the next target, the shield lay on the ground. Camera footage revealed that the batarang had turned around the target and hit the hand from behind. 'It is an interesting one as it broke the hand.' Dorian said. 'If you have a broken hand, you cannot hold a shield.' Talia said smartly. 'And that is true.' Max said with a creepy smile. 

'Now for the last one.' Geoff said  as the small group headed to the armoured mannequin. 'Rather dissapointing.' Max commented as he saw two batarangs on the ground in front of the target. 'Yes, it seems that the batarangs just bounced off the armour without doing any form of damage.' Geoff said. 'Cap's armour is one of the best and cannot be pierced by any conventional weapons.' Spiderman suddenly popped up. ; How about the shock damage?'  Talia suddenly asked. 'Good that you start about that.' Geoff said as he walked towards the laptop. 'it seems that the suit resisted it. It offers enough protection to stop the electricity' Was the conclusion as he watched the numbers. 'This suit did his job as well.' Max commented.

With the two weapons tested, neither had been able to get through the defense of the other. Now it is for the three hosts to decide who will get the edge. Will it be the Thompson submachine gun, that shot holes in many targets but failed to destroy the armour of Batman. Or is it the batarang, which has disarmed and disabled the opponent but could not topple the defense of Captain America. The experts have done their thing and it is for the hosts to decide who gets the edge in long range.

'I am going with the batarang.' Max said as the three hosts stood together to decide who would get the edge. 'It has more uses then tge thompson and can take out without killing. besides it went past the shield of the captain.' He explained his reasoning. 'I go with the thompson. It can keep Batman on the defence and make him unable to use throw the batarangs. Also one shot in the middle of the face will kill batman. Batman cannot kill the captain.'  Geoff countered. 'Neither weapon really impressed me. I had thought they would do more damage.' The doctor started. However when I have to choose between the two then I am going with the weapon that can take out the other weapon. I am going with the batarangs.'

Long Range goes to Batman

Now it is up to the midrange weapons. Captain America brings the M1911 handgun. 

This semi automatic handgun has been used by the United States militairy since 1911 untill the present day. Deadly with a shot.

'Okay, Another firearm.' Geoff said as Falcon walked up with the handgun.' 'When did Captain use this weapon?' Max asked. 'In the second world war, he used this to shoot germans and most recently found his way to this weapon again when the shield is not enough.' Came the reply. 'Fair enough.' Max replied. 'Another weapon that will fail to get through the outfit of Batman.' Talia said as she came to inspect the weapon. 'That is indeed something. why do you think this weapon will do any better then the last one?' Max asked. 'This pistol can fire powerfull controlled shots. Aiming will be easier and with the more power, Cap can aim at specific targets on the suit to disable it.' 'Like what?' Nightwing asked, not taking the statement serieusly. 'The hands, the feet and the face.' Falcon said. 'Interesting choises. If you want to take out an opponent with a gun without killing them, this would be a good choise.' Armand Dorian spoke out. 'Indeed, police forces always shoot in the legs of arms if they want to take out an target.' Geoff added. 'Handy.' Spiderman commented from across the room. 'Why isn't Spiderman here when you explain about the guns?' Max asked. 'Because guns kill people and are therefore stupid.' Spidey yelled the response. 

'With the arms and legs armoured, the feet and hands are the best options.' Falcon said, coming back on topic. 'i doubt that they will have enough protection to stop a bullet and if they have, the force will break the bones nonetheless.' the man added. 'Lets test the weapon then.' Geoff said.

Back in the shooting range, four targets have been set up to test the M1911. 

'Its a rather easy setup.' Geoff started explaining. 'Three targets and each has a piece of outfit of Batman.' The Canadian man pointed out. They walked up to the first target, which was wearing the gloves of Batman. 'Shoot the hands here. We will see what happens. We also can measure the impact on our laptop to see if fingers are broken, even if the gloves stop the bullet.' 'Okay.' Falcon nodded. 'next target, aim at the feet. He is wearing the boots of Batman. With this one we can measure the power of the impact as well.' This time, the hero only nodded. As they walked up to the last target, Geoff smiled. 'This one should be obvlious. Hit the face for a kill.' 

As they walked away from the targets Geoff added one thing. 'Also you are allowed to use one magazine. That means seven bullets to hit all three targets. Can you do that?' 'Yes.'Falcon replied. 

With everyone but Falcon far enough away, Geoff started counting down. Three.....Two....One.....Now!' He yelled.

At that moment, Falcon fired his first shot. The second followed soon after and when he had fired a third time, the hero turned to the next target. That one recieved three shots as well. With one shot to go and only one target left, Falcon took his time to fire. After the last bullet had been shot, the three hosts walked up to Falcon. They were followed by the experts of team Batman while Spiderman hung back. 

'Let us see the first target.' Max said. 'Your objective was to hit the hands and you fired three times if I am not mistaken.' Geoff said. 'Yes.' Falcon said. 'I see one bullet in the palm of the left hand and one at the fingers of the right.' Max commented. 'it seems that the armour stopped the bullet entering the palm but the data showed that the bones in the hand would be broken.' Geoff said. 'And here you actually see that the bullet has destroyed the middle finger and the ring finger and the force destroyed the others.' Doctor Dorian added. 'What would that mean?' Max asked the doctor. 'Well Batman would still be alive and well but he would not be able to use his hands for a while.' Came the answer. 'That would make fighting troublesome.' Falcon said. 'Well you only hit with two out of three bullets and one of these was a near miss. This all on a standing target.' Talia spoke in the defence of Batman. 'Batman is constantly moving, making it even harder to hit.' Nightwing spoke up.

'Well let us see the second target.'  Max said.  The small group walked up to the next target, where the aim was on the feet. 'You hit one in the ancle. A dangerous spot.' Armand started. The force is enough to break the ancle, which will hinder the ability to walk tremendously.' The doctor continued. 'And it looks like the boot did not stop the bullet.' Came the comment of Geoff. 'The next bullet has hit the foot.' The host discovered. 'That would hurt a lot but nothing else.' The doctor explained. 

With no sign of the third bullet hitting anything, everybody makes their way to the last target. With two bullets doing damage, two that did not do much and two misses, the last one must be a kill.' 

'And it looks like it hit the middle of the face.' Geoff said. 'Great spot for a direct kill.' Came the comment of Armand Dorian. 

'So out of the seven shots, three were actually effective.' geoff summed up when back in the fightclub. 'Well its enough.' Falcon said. 'Four bullets waisted. Batman does not need bullets to hit in the feet. He can take opponents down with a harder bang.' Talia said. 'And how is he going to do that?' Max asked. 'Well.' Came the answer. 'With his grenades and explosive gell.' 

Grenades for when then the blast does not count but that what is in it.

A tool to break through walls can turn a into a deadly weapon.

Both Nightwing and Talia were holding weapons in their hands as they aproached the hosts. 'What do you have for us?' Geoff asked. 'Nightwing is holding the explosive gell.' She started. 'Batman created this to blow down weak walls but can also apply it and use it when someone is near.' The woman said. 'And to have a wall collapse on opponents.' Nightwing added. 'How does Batman use it?' Max Geiger came again. 'He sprays it on a wall or ground and then can detonate it from a distance.'  Nightwing said. 'He can stand close to it himself without any danger and it only activates when Batman pushes the button.' Nightwing continued. 'Also he can spray three targets in a set before an explosion.'  Talia added. 

'What about the other weapon?' Geoff asked. 'These grenades have not a big bang.' Talia started with a smile. 'These are filled with smoke, knockoutgas, sleepgas or teargas.' The woman watched the hosts. 'This one can freeze someone's feet to the ground or destroy a weapon with ice.' She added as he held up a grenade. 'Awesome.' Max said. 'Well its all smoke until we have seen these things actually work.' Spiderman had joined the group. 'Good point and I have ideas for a few tests.' Came the voice of Geoff.

Back again outside, there were several tests set up. 'Okay my lady.' Geoff started. 'First we will test the explosive gell.' He guided the young woman to the first stunt dummy. 'please spray.' Talia sprayed on the ground with the gun and Geoff places the stunt dummy on top. Then the two walked up to a small wall with three stunt dummies on the other side. Here, Talia made a small bat out of gel on the wall. The two walked back while Geoff talked. 'On the dummies, there are shockwaves patches. They can tell us what happens after the explosion, if the dummy is killed, knocked out or walking away.' Talia nodded and after they arrived, she pressed the button. 

Two seperate explosions happened at the same time and the sound of bricks falling came directly after. 'Let us see the damage you have done.' Geoff said and the small group walked to the first test dummy. 'This one was on top of the explosion.' Geoff said as they watched the dummie on the ground. 'It has no visible damage.' Doctor Dorian spoke. 'None of the patches are tripped.' Max said. 'He is walking away from it.' Spiderman said with a smug look. 'Well the target is out on the ground. Good luck getting up with batman swooping down at you.' Was the answer of Talia. 'Let us see how the other dummies have done.' Max said. Following him, the group walked up to the collapsed wall. Two out of three dummies were on the ground. 'No tripped patches here.' Max said as he studied the first downed target. 'Neither here.' Came Armand from the second one. 'The standing target is clean as well.' Geoff finished. 'Again. Nothing.' Falcon was the one talking now. 'Don't be to hasty to say that.'  The doctor spoke. 'We have a collapsing wall and two people caught in the rubble. Not only are they down but when the wall hits the head, it can be a concussion or even a knock out.' 'With caps armour and superhuman condition..... Pffffff Not likely.'  Spiderman said. 'Still there is the surprise effect, stones falling and your guy on the ground.' As Nightwing talked, things got heated up. 'You still have other gadgets right?' Max asked. 'Ahh yes.' Came the woman. 'The grenades.' She said with a smile. 

'I have a special test for these grenades.' geoff said with a mysterious smile. 'We know that the different gasses themselfs work. There is still the question how they are going to work together.' Geoff continued. 'That is why I have this single dummie set up.' They had arrived at a single dummie standing in the field. 'This is an heavily armed criminal. First freeze his feet to the ground and then use the knockout gas to take him out. Finally use your smoke to get away before his buddies arrive.' 'it will be my pleasure.' 

After everyone else had stepped back enough, Talia got the sign that she could begin. 'The first grenade she threw, came next to the feet of the dummie and ice surrounded the target. Talia wasted no time to throw the second  grenade and as it fell on the ground, gas escaped it that surrounded the target. lastly was the smoke grenade that clouded the dummie. 'Okay. Good job.' Geoff said.

Instead of walking towards the target, everybody made their way to the laptop. 'Here you see how the feet froze to the ground.' Max pointed out. 'And here, the knockout gas reaches the face of the target.' Geoff said. 

'So you are going to hope that the always moving Captain America will stand still long enough for your gas grenades to work? Good Luck with that.' Spiderman taunted. 'Can't you see the frozen feet?' Nightwing asked. 'One word dude. Shield.' Came the answer of Spidey as he moved his arms like he smashed something with an invisible shield. 'Well its still better then a gun you can't even hit with.' 

The experts are convinced that their weapons are the best but the hosts cannot agree on what weapon will get the edge.

'I have to go with Batman here. All his tools work together and are great for a ambush.' Max made his case. 'I don't know. We now saw a very effective gun that can cripple or kill Batman.' Geoff gave his opinion. It was again to the doctor to give the final verdict. 'The M1911 is good. It is a proven solid gun. However the target is small and hitting will be hard. Batman has some very usefull tools for around the battlefield.' 

Medium edge goes to Batman

With the long and medium ranges going to the dark Knight. Can Captain America recover? Maybe the close range will swing in favor of the captain. Mats are being laid down in the fightclub because now, we will test the martial arts of both men.

Firstly Captain America will show the punches he can throw.

'Now it is time for the Spider to bring the power.' Spiderman said as he stepped on the mat. 'Before you are going to fight, I want to know more about the martial arts experience of the Captain.' Geoff said. 'where to begin?' Spiderman said. 'he was taught by the army and several private instructors. he has combined several martial arts together to form his own personal fighting style. He has taught most members of the Avengers in close combat and can punch really hard.' Following his speech, Spiderman hit the punching back that was hanging from the ceiling a few times until he punched right through it. 'Cap can do this too.' The man explained. 'Yeah yeah.' Max said, unbelieving. 'Remember he has the super soldier serum in his body, that has enhanced his own strenght as well.' Falcon explained. 'Cap can pull steel handcuffs right in two.' spiderman said. 'And then there is another thing.' he added. 'What is that?' Max asked. 'The captain is a gymnast.' Came the answer of Spiderman. 'A gymnast?' The young nerd asked surprised. 'yes.' Spiderman said before he jumped on his hands, kicked the air and did a salto that resulted in a punch. 'It is an important part of his fighting style.' Spiderman added.  'Awesome. Let me see what you can do.' Geoff said as he stepped on the mat.

As a karate blackbelt. Geoff knows how the body works and what it takes to get a man down and out using your body.

'Okay. let's see what you can do Spiderman.' Geoff said as he moved to punch his opponent. Spiderman jumped aside with ease and threw Geoff on the mat. The man stood up, attempted an grapple but landed on the ground as well. As Geoff stepped back, Falcon took his place on the mat. The two dueled it out, where Spiderman was able to show off some moves of the captain and could punch with more power. 'Okay I have seen enough.' Geoff said all of a sudden. Both men nodded and left. 'Next up are the Batman experts.' Max said, wondering what they would come with. 

This bat can put down an opponent using his own body as a weapon.

'We have heard the story of the other experts. What can Batman do?' Max asked. 'To start, Batman has been trained in 127 forms of martial arts. He uses a combination of those he prefers best.'  Nightwing started. 'He is also as strong as any human can possibly be.' Talia said. 'Okay but what is his fighting style. How would he tackle and opponent?' Geoff asked. 'He likes to start a battle by swooping down on the opponent. he can take out one already this way and is then able to continue fighting.'  Nightwing said. Talia continued: 'He prefers to work on the counter. He counterattacks and uses the force and momentum of his opponent to put one down. When an opponent is weakened, Batman finishes the fight with a well aimed punch or kick.' She explained. 'Altough Batman is a master acrobat, in his fighting style, he prefers to keep standing, holding controll over the battle.' She then added as if she just thought of that.

'Well Show me what Batman can do.' Geof said as he stepped on the mat. It was Talia al ghul who joined him and the first two punches that Geoff threw had as result that he landed on the ground. Geoff kicked and Talia caught the leg. 'Batman would smash his elbow against the knee and then swing the leg. 'It is a good way to break the knee and by swinging the leg, not only do I fall, I get disorientated.'  Geoff said. 'There is something else here.' Nightwing suddenly spoke as he took Geof's place on the mat. 'His cape. He can move his cape in front of his opponent to blind and stun the target.' Nightwing showed it and the experts were in awe. They then watched Talia and Nightwing fight each other. 

'So Geoff. You are the best to decide the edge for close range here.' Max said as the three hosts stood togther. 'Both fighting styles are proven and solid.' Geoff began. 'It is hard to decide which style of fighting would win over the other.' 'Okay but how do we decide who gets the edge?' Max asked. 'Well.' Geoff began, 'With the two fighting styles equal, it matters how long the body can continue to fight which decided who would win.' He looked at the other two and then started explaining. 'Batman is trained to the limit but there is still a limit about his condition and strenght. With Captain America, his body got the super soldier serum that pushes the limits and will make him hold out longer and his attack will be stronger.'

For the close range, the edge goes to Captain America.

Only one weapon to test for both warriors and the last chance to prove themselfs. It is time to test the special weapons.

For Captain America, it is his signature weapon. His shield.

'Well that is awesome.' Max said in delight as Spiderman brought in the shield. 'The pride and joy of the captain. This is his main and favorite weapon.' Spidey explained. 'The captain never leaves home without it and even when he could not use this shield, had other shields as replacement.' Falcon explained. 'What is it made of?' Geoff asked as he inspected the shield. 'A vibranium allow, steel and another secret opponent.' Falcon said. 'And it is undestructible.' Spiderman added with a smile. 'Nothing is indestrucible.' Nightwing said as he walked to inspect the weapon. 'Well this shield is. It held the hammer of thor, the punches of hulk, several explosions and the most dangerous of all: The farts of yours truely.' Spidey grinned. 

'How does the Captain use his shield?' Geoff asked, trying to distract from the fact that Max was gigling like a little schoolgirl. 

'He uses the weapon in close range. Hitting the opponent with the rim or the face of the shield.' Spiderman said. 'He can also throw the weapon to hit one or more opponents and then catch the shield.' Falcon added. 'Now that is impressive.' Was the comment of Geoff. 'Let us test this thing.' He said as he walked the two warriors to a stationary dummy. There, Geoff attached something to the shield. 'This will measure the force of impact.' He explained. 'With this and the meter on the dummy, I will be able to tell how hard you will be hitting this dummy.' 'Very well.' Was the response of Spiderman, who was about to peform.

'When you are ready.' Geoff said as Spiderman warmed up. Suddenly Spiderman moved into action. He first punched forwards with the shield, ramming the rim in the face of the dummy. He then pulled the shield towards him and moved his hand outwards, hitting the dummy with a backslash. Finally Spiderman shoved the rim in the face of the target. 'Done.' Spiderman yelled. 'Yes and the numbers were through the roof.' Came the answer of Geoff. 'The impact of these attacks had more force then a car crash. 'So I get an A?' Spidey asked. 'A+ my friend.' Max answered as he gave the hero a thumbs up. 

'Well damage wise it is a carwreck as well.' Doctor Dorian suddenly spoke as he reserached the victim. Broken nose, with the bones being pushed inwards, a large wound in the side of the head. If this was happening in the ER, we would not be able to save this dude.' The man finished. 'Batman has a cowl on that is used to getting impacts. I bet this is not as hard as a punch of Superman.' Nightwing came in. 'I can't see any cowl in front of the broken nose with bones pushing its brain.' Spiderman answered. 'And that would never happen.' Was all Nightwing could say.

'Well I still want to see this shield fly so let's go to the next test.' 

To avoid a Superpower Beatdown, It is time to test the ranged ability of the shield. Geoff has set up four dummies in a semi circle and one on the ground.

'This is the situation. Four bad guys are trying to rob an innocent bystander on the ground.' 'Okay.' Falcon nodded, who would take the test. 'Take out the bad guys but do not hit the bystander.' Geoff continued. 'Fine with me.' Came the answer. 

'Throw when ready.' Geoff said and seconds later, the shield flew through the air, hitting all the targets and then returning to the Falcon, who catched it with ease. 'I could not believe untill I saw it.' Max uttered. 'Beautiful throw man. Real good circle.' Geoff commented. 'A hit to the face is never good. Not only did you hit the opponents in the face but they also all fell on the ground. You are hitting the face, breaking noses again, stunning the guys and then they are on the ground, possible with a wound.' The doctor said.  'Again the cowl.' Nightwing spoke. 'Again no cowl in front of the nose.' was the reply of Spiderman.

'Nightwing what is your answer for this?' Max asked. 'The Batclaw.' Nightwing said as he held the weapon up in the air.

Now up the the last weapon of today. The special weapon of Batman is an all purpose grapple. 

It is the Batclaw.

'Batclaw. okay tell us the story?' Max asked the two experts. 'This is a multi purpose tool. Batman uses it to get up buildings, to get things down or open doors and hatches he cannot reach.' Was the answer. 'And how is it going to stop Captain  America?' Max asked. 'Well this tool can pull weapons from the user, thereby disarming them and pull the opponents towards Batman. This can either lead to the opponent falling on the ground or finding a fist on the other end of this gun.' Nightwing replied. 'PPFFFFF' They suddenly heard and as they turned around, saw how Spiderman was pointing. 'This a weapon? Then you can give up altogether.' 'Well Let's see how much you can use that shield when the Batclaw has just taken it from your hands.'  'We can test that.' Geoff suddenly interrupted the experts. 

'Now this is going to be a simple test.' Geoff began as he pointed at the mannequin dressed as the Captain. 'Just take the shield away from your opponent and pull him on the ground.' 'Okay.' Nightwing nodded. 'Because it is that simple. You must peform it under one minute. So you are on the clock.' Geoff added. 'very well. Will still be easy.' Came the answer of Nightwing. 

'Three...Two....One..' Geoff yelled. As soon as he hit zero, Nightwing fired the batclaw. The hook grabbed the shield and as Nightwing retracted the weapon, the shield got pulled out of the hands of the mannequin. Nightwing shot again and this time, the hook catched the chest of the mannequin. As Nightwing pulled the opponent towards him, he ran towards it and slammed the mannequin in the face. Following that, he smashed the head against the ground 'Done.' He yelled. 'And with 5 seconds on the clock, good on time.' 

Nightwing nodded. 'You have done an exellent job, especially with those attacks on the end.' Geoff said. 'Now let us decide who gets the edge.' He turned to Max and Armand. 'The batclaw is a usefull tool but the shield is both a good offense and defense.' Max said. 'I agree completely.' Geoff added.

Edge Captain America

With all the weapons tested, each warrior has more more thing to add. It is something special that cannot be tested or measured. It is an X-factor that will put each warrior through the match.

For Captain America it is the super soldier serum.

'Cap really lived the American dream. He wanted to join the army but was not allowed. Then with the super soldier serum, he became the man people wish they could be. He was as a mere human and able to fight on equal foot to monsters, gods, me and a man in a robotic suit.' Spiderman said. 'Okay, he is better then me.' Spidey suddenly admitted.

For Batman it is fear. He makes people fear him.'

'What do you do when you come in a city where the police is corrupt? You make the bad guys fear you. Batman took the symbol of that what he feared and made it his mascot. He then installed fear in the criminals of Gotham and is not afraid to hang someone from a building to get the information he needs.' Came the explanation of Nightwing. 

We have tested eight weapons and four of them have gotten the edge. These are:

In long range. The batarangs of Batman won it out against the Tommy gun.

'The batarangs are just more versatile and have more functions.' Geoff explained.

In the medium ranged weapons, the grenades and explosive gell proved superior to the M1911 Handgun. 

'When both warriors are fully armoured, then the weapons that can throw the opponent off their game more wins.' The doctor said.

In close range, the martial arts of the Captain won it out over those of Batman.

'When both are highly trained martial artists, the one who can fight on the longest and have the greater punches will win it out.' Geoff explained.

In special, the shield proved more solid then the batclaw.

'The shield can be used in both close range and long range.' Max said.

'I thought at first that Captain America will win but after seeing all these toys of Batman. i have to give the edge to him now.' Geoff said. 'I initially thought that Batman would win but it will be hard to get past the shield and I expect another Spartan here.' Max gave his opinion.

Now everything is done, all the experts have given their opinions, all the weapons tested and all the data has been put into the computer. It is time to hit the button and see who would win in a match between these two superheroes. It is time to find out who is the Deadliest Warrior.

It was night and and a man dangled from the roof of a large building. Holding him only on a leg was a man in the suit of a bat. 'Where is the Pinguin?' Batman yelled. 'I.... Don... do.... Don't........know..' Came the answer of the terrified man. 'Tell me!' Batman yelled. 'I swear......I..do....no...know...' The man yelled out in confusion. By this time, the henchman had already wet his pants several times. 'Where did you last meet?' Batman yelled out. 'I....I...Iceberg lounge...' The man squaled. 'I don't believe you.' Batman said as he lowered the man.  'Please....Please......I am telling the truth.' The man yelled out. 'Stop it. The man said he doeesn't know anything.' A third voice suddenly spoke. 'Who is that?' Batman asked as he pulled the man on the roof. 

From the shadows appeared Captain America. 'Let the man go.' He spoke confidently. 'This is none of your buisness.' Batman replied. 'Now it is.' Came the Captain. 'Walk away or I will attack you.' Batman spoke. 'Be my guest.' Was all Captain America had to say.

The man now forgotten, Batman threw two batarangs at the Captain, who lifted his shield to protect himself and then ran towards his opponent. Cap slammed the face of his shield against the chest of Batman and followed up with a slam of the rim. batman ducked under the attack and slammed his fist in the chest of the Captain, who buckled over, leaving his face exposed for a kick. 

Captain America stepped backwards and threw his shield. the weapon hit the shoulder of Batman before the latter dissapeared in the darkness. Walking over the roof, the marvel hero searched for his opponent, trying to find the black figure in the darkness. A batarang flew towards the captain and hit him in the chest. It gave out an electrical shock, that had little effect. A second one landed next to the captain, which exploded.

Captain America drew his pistol and looked around. If this opponent was going to play hard, he could do it too. 

Seeing a shadow move, the captain opened fire and shot at it. 'A gun you coward?' He heard his opponent yell. A batarang flew towards the warrior and he was just able to block it with his shield. He then heard a sound behind him and turned around to inspect it. The captain found out seconds later that it was another shuriken like weapon that had emitted it. Suddenly the captain heard a sound behind him and before he could react, something slammed into him. The captain fell and the M1911 fell out of his hands and got kicked away. The captain rolled and jumped into a standing position, where he moved his shield to cover him. 

It had been Batman who had jumped on his target and knocked the pistol away. Batman now threw a smoke grenade, which covered the roof in thick black smoke. Batman then ran towards his opponent and slammed his fist into the face of his opponent. Before batman could do anything else, the rim of the shield hit the side of Batman's head. Following that, Cap slammed his fist into the face of his opponent and sending Batman backwards. Cap turned to punch his opponent again, hitting air only. Following that, Batman kicked his opponent in the side and send him backwards. As the smoke cleared, Cap saw his opponent jump from the roof and he followed directly after. Entering an alley, Cap saw his opponent move towards the other end. Putting his shield on his back, cap took his tommy gun and fired it at his target. Batman turned aroud, took a few rounds in the chest and threw his batarangs. The armour had protected Batman and the batarangs hit the weapon and the the hand of the Captain, who was forced to release the tommy gun. 

Batman dissapeared in the other end of the alley and the captain took his shield again. He ran towards the end where his opponent dissapeared when he heard an explosion next to him. Turning around, Cap saw the wall next to him collapsed and was just able to put the shield in front of his face to protect against the falling stones. Suddenly  a small gas grenade landed next to the captain and sleep gas came out. Captain moved away to attack Batman, only to see a grapple hook flying towards him. the hook got hold of his shield and it became a tug of war between the two warriors. Batman quickly threw a batarang that Captain America was able to dodge. and the pulling continued. The batarang returned and hit the Captain in the back of his head. this surprised the man enough for Batman to pull the shield away and caped crusader ran towards his opponent.

Cap threw a punch, which Bats redirected. The dark knight was able to throw cap on the ground and as he came closer, Cap was able to kick the man with both feet in the chest. Captain America now jumped up and threw several pumches at his opponent, forcing Batman backwards. As Cap came in close again, Batman took the moment to grab two explosive batarangs and and cap threw a punch, the batarangs exploded, sending both fighters in opposite directions. Batman lay on the ground while the Captain rose to his knees and slowly to his feet. 'I win.' He spoke. 'Wrong.' Came the answer of Batman. At that moment Captain saw the small grenade with knockout gas that hit him full in the face. After stepping forward once, Captain America collapsed on the ground. Batman smiled as he slowly rose. He had won the fight.

Winner: Batman

Back in the fightclub, Max explained the victory. 'This was a close match with Batman winning 560 times out if a 1000 battles and Captain America only 440. Both hit hard and had great defense but Batman was just able to overcome his opponent with the gas grenades and batarangs.'

'I am surprised.' Spiderman yelled out. 'That Bat won it out against Cap? How strong can a bat be?' 

'Both are good guys and both will get the job done. As long as there are heroes to defend the innocent, Cap would be happy.' The Falcon said.

'Batman is just better, he is after all one of the justice leage.' Nightwing said.

'Ofcourse he won. He is the father of my child and I do not date the weak.' Talia finally said.

Next week will be shootout between criminals. John Marston will take on a gangster from Grove Street. Carl Johnsen.
